What was the last thing you watched on Netflix?

Not Netflix, but Amazon Prime:

"The Trial of Axis Sally"

'Axis Sally' was the name given to one of several American women who broadcast Nazi propaganda from Berlin during WWII. The film painted her more sympathetically than she deserved (IMO). But it was well filmed. Did not like the choice of Thomas Kretschmann to portray Joseph Goebbels; too manly for Goebbels.

I’m only on E1… I’m not sold… I was so tired last night when I eventually got time alone to watch it though. I really want to love it but none of the actors are grabbing me so far. Where are you at with it? Should I hang in there??

I can't figure it out yet. I'm on the third episode. I thought it was going to be psychological or scary... it's taking a lot of time to set up the story. I'm hanging in there for a hopefully exciting twist.

.....

Okay, I changed my mind. It's definitely getting creepy. Hang in there!

So many people watching SexEd. There needs to be a thread about it. It’s such a good show.

I finished it. It is quite unusual for a horror show. I am glad I watched to the end.

I watched Lady Driver (I'm a car guy) It was a really good feel good kinda movie.

I started bullethead, and while the cast is top notch, I'm not sure I like how they put it together with all the flashbacks, but I'll finish it today, cuz I'm bored, lol.

I just binged The Circle.

I think I need a support group for how that played out

And yes, we need a Sex Ed thread!

Worth

Determining government compensation for victims of 9/11

That’s incredibly moving and if one wants to pay tribute to the first responders and victims of the tragedy watch-it. Digest it and think about it past the one day a year that the all media shines a spot light on it.

I tried it before the hype hit, but wasn't paying that much attention (probably on here tbh). Worth another try?

I watched the first episode a few weeks back and wasn't in the mood to watch subtitles so I know that affected my initial take... it's good though. I'd give it another go if you're into a Running Man-esque viewing experience. It's crazy!
