Hmm. Probably spending my remaining £ at the airport in London. I haven't used any cash since I've been back.
I love that 'waiting for my plane' spend at the airport ... totally unnecessary, but a fun way to finish off one's trip. I ended up with a heap of lipsticks that I'll never use.
I think I probably drank a gallon of this black currant juice that I love over there and Souvenirs I didnt need.
Does anyone ever really NEED souvenirs?
Apparently I will perish if I dont exceed the weight limit of my checked baggage with things I "need" .
The last time I was in the UK, I was shopping for myself AND my then-husband and child. I was pretty careful to arrive there with half-empty bags. (One of the things I bought was a small trolley suitcase in the shape of Darth Vader's head. The wheels had red lights that flickered when you pulled it along. It wasn't a very sturdy thing, so the only thing to do was to use it as my carry-on, which I then had to put through every single security check on a trip home that involved something like four different transits. Honestly, if you want to make friends with airport security and have the whole process be a bit more pleasant, travel with Star Wars themed luggage.)
I don't even remember the last time I used cash. I have a bunch of it on my dresser. Several hundred dollars worth. It just keeps adding up because I never spend cash!
I think a month ago I bought a sandwich with cash.
