Beautiful pic, only change I'd make would be to hide the "Blue Bundle" behind you. the formal vertical lines of the background would then draw the eye nicely to the subject, which is nicely terminated by the blue forground. A good pose and nice composition appart from that.

Anouther excellent composition. Better background, with the horizontal lines this time. Could be slightly improved by being a little more consious of the way the Hair falls at the shoulders, and perhaps adjusting the pose of the arms. I'd like to see an almost heart shape, formed with the roundness of the breasts at the top and the arms leading down to something like a point at the bottom, perhaps with fingers all criss cross latticing...

...Just my thoughts though.

Dragonteeth: you're right, I think. Initially I liked heap of towels and pillows behind me in the first picture. But it is distracting.

I hate the doorknob in the second picture (on the right). But I couldn't quite crop it out. I never know what to do with my hair. Pull it forward over my shoulders or push it back? Because I do crop my face out (sorry, folks) having my hair in front sometimes looks a little odd to me.

The first pic is one of your best I think. And renaissance painters often had piles of laundry in their works, then concealed them under some cherubs or something apt. But then, their patrons paid somebody else to do their ironing, so it wasn't such a problem back then.

Oatmeal cooky recipes: you know, I don't know any even though I bake often. Maybe I'll make some tomorrow. There must be one in the Joy of Cooking or something.

I have tasted quite a few and what i am after is soft and chewy and not like most of the recipes out there. oatmeal cookies and soft meatballs....a delicious apple pie with crumbly crust and butter tarts with pecans and no raisins. working on all four but not quite right.

work at times sucks but it pays the bills for those of us that are not independently wealthy. playtime here is fun and games and pleasure. i enjoy you as much as the others but only when feel like sharing, not obliged to share.

I wouldn't worry about the doorknob, it just adds texture to the background, it's not too distracting.

I'd sugest wearing hair back, or better yet UP, if you can.

I like them soft and chewy too. And all pie is good, but pie crust is so difficult! Mine always comes out leathery. I like cherry best. No, maybe key lime. But that's not usually made with a proper crust, is it? You get to cheat with those crumb crusts.

If you send me a butter tart you will get a special reward.
