This thread is dedicated to BabblingBrooke, who I don't know.

What would you give?

If you could?

Would you give a wish? A day? Money? New pair of shoes? What would you give someone if you could?

I'd give my father the motivation to lose 200lbs.

What would you give?

I would give my dad the will to survive.

I would give my mom all her children back.

I would give my best friend, who is far away, the biggest hug ever.:):rose:

Lets start simple, the first person to post on here that is not me ... I'll give one green light when you really need it.

I had this friend/fuck buddy, who I fell in love with, but didn't love me. She had this daddy thing ... I'm the kind of guy everyone wants, but doesn't want to admit to wanting.

I'd give her her father, if only shut her up. It's a terrible thing, wanting to know someone you'll never meet.

I would give my mom her health back, even if it meant at the expense of my own.

I would give my dad the strength to persevere.

I would give my beautiful babygirl a lifetime of happiness and smiles.

The women friends I'm so close to, I'd give them everything they ever wanted and desired. They mean a lot to me.

I'll give:

SR some free time to enjoy a beer.

I'll give Noir (JBJ) a conscious ...

I'll give lovecraft some time away from himself

I'll give Cashmere (don't know what I can give the perfect person)

I'll give walking eagle a pair of pants ...

I'll give Iceprincess more time to indulge me ...

I'll give pccookie more time to take any abuse I want to give ...

I'll give jezzilee more time to deal with me

I'll give leearin (did I spell that right) a second chance to get to know me

and there is this english guy on here with eloquent speech I'd give the chance to teach me how he learned to talk like he did.

I'd give my family a break of who I am (a drunk, alcoholic narcissist who can do no wrong).

That's something I like to hear.

I would give my daughter the wisdom required to truly understand that my ex and I's divorce has absolutely nothing to do with her. I would want her to know how hard we tried to make things work and that our separation is the best thing for everyone, in the long run.

I would gift her whatever was required for none of this to have any bearing on her own relationships when she starts dating.

I would gift her the freedom and confidence to tell us exactly how she feels, so that we've got some clue how best to help her through this.

Fuck.

Fuck ... I know all about that ... Have a son in London, I live in California ... fuck is right. Those are good things to give.

They would be if I could give them.

My daughter's still local but she's a bit too old to take down the park. I see her when she wants to. She's got a busy social life. If it's not an impertinence... I hope you get to see your son and FWIW it's never wasted. Even if he's not fussed or it doesn't go very well. Even if she's a bitch who badmouths you. Even if it's once a year. If he can look back and know that you tried, it'll make all the difference when he's older. Always have your door open. He might never walk through it of his own accord but it'll make all the difference for him to know that he could. You're in an age of facetime, so all is not lost.

what is fwiw?

My son's mother is great. Too great. She enables me. (I enable myself) My son is a little white asian with the london accent, high class, not cockney. He's beginning to understand the kind of person I am.

I would give him the knowledge that that me being a shit father has nothing to do with him.

FWIW = For what it's worth.

I'm glad she's great. Maybe there's something in being honest about what you're capable of, rather than promising more than you can deliver. I wish you all the best with it.

this thread is going to die ... no one wants to give?

A lot of selfish people here.

But if you say it, might it come true?

I would give those litsers who've left the space they need to find themselves (and to get their lives how they want to be) and then the route back to here when they're ready to take it.

Thanks SG I would love more time so our conversations don't take so long to get through like three sentences ( totally my fault)

What would I give? I would give my daughter patience to deal with my autistic grandson. I would she does an amazing job so I guess that would not be a great gift since she does so well alreadg. I would give her the ability to be patient with herself and realize what an amazing mom she is and how far she has come.

I would give my mother the gift of health. Her life is a daily struggle.. she has such a positive attitude for going through so much.

I would give my sister the gift of empathy and understanding...and the will to give two shots about her mother.

I would give my uncle the gift of a pancreatic cancer free love G life and my aunt (his daughter, a non drinker) the gift of a healthy liver.. that one I will be tested for when the time comes. Who knows, I may be able to fulfill it.

I would give a really good friend the gift of a sail oat so he could happily flee the bitter winters rthat are his world.

I would give another friend the gift of a duplex...he knows why.

I would give yo, sg, the gift of happiness in sobreity.and a healthy satisfying life....

There are so many people that I would give things to, way too many people to list. There is so much suffering and sadness in the world and I would like to take away as much as I possibly could.

I'll give pccookie more time to take any abuse I want to give ...

Hey I just met you,
And this is crazy,
BUT what's with the attitude? I've never spoken to you and I barely know who you are. If you have an issue then pm me and we can thrash it out there, then you don't have to air your insecurities on a thread.

I will give you the privacy of not posting what I do know about you because I believe people should make their own judgements and not be influenced by other people's.
