What's cookin', good lookin'? Part II

I eat it one mouthful wide completely around on each end to provide handles before moving to the right and going round and round.

Haphazardly is a splendid word.

I was thinking of it a few days ago when the subway was closed for ‘planned engineering work.’ I couldn’t help wondering whether they ever did unplanned engineering? Like, heuristic engineering where they hand everyone a selection of tools to try and let them express themselves?

And don’t get me started on people who eat pizza haphazardly.

Haphazard engineering is almost an oxymoron.

Pizza must be folded. Start with the point. It’s the only way.

Nice.
I will try this technique and report back.

I suck it like a cock. I get *looks* at clambakes.

Ribeye and mashed potatoes at our house tonight! I cooked as if I’m not almost an empty nester, so there’s lots leftover...

Of course not, because I'm not a heartless bastard. I let him keep half. God, who do you even think I am?

Hey...lets not be talking bad about Heartless Bastards.

i make some Memphis Baked ribs last night and they were wonderful. This Heartless Bastard isn't a chef but i can cook with a recipe on occasion.

Im not saying anybody can be a Heartless Bastard but some have pulled it off before once upon a time.
As I know it there's only one way you can be a Bastard but you have to have Heart to know Heartless.

anyway I did it for years look at the beginnings of my profile...oh yea that's me in the profile ...a bit dated like the rest of the profile but ugly as ever.

Different is good sometimes.

Today: roasted parsnips, potatoes and beets of various colors with thyme and chicken. Spinach and beet leaf salad with toasted almonds. Home made bread. Yoghurt with vanilla and apple compote for dessert.

Fall has fallen.

Not cooking tonight, but tomorrow I may just do a roast chicken with taters and sautéed spinach. Also, the last of my garden tomatoes. :(

Fall has fallen.

Yes it is whats that they say. Variety is the spice of life.

seems everyone here gets plenty of Variety.

I wish Fall had fallen here already. Remains hot.

It’s soupy here. Not quite Summer, not quite Fall. One night I’m grilling, the next I’m baking cobbler.
