As per a recent talk and something that was said to me last week.Does anyone still believe in love?Think its lie?myth?non -existent?Best thing ever?LOL
I know some still think its possible, while others say NEVER!!What say you?

If you'd have asked me this last year, I would have said there was no such thing as love. However, since I came here, I've learned there is such a thing and it can be so wonderful. I owe it to Lit for making that possible. So yes, there is such a thing as love. And you're very fortunate if you find it.

Yes, of course there's such a thing as love. Where people run into problems is when they assume that the real thing is going to match their expectations perfectly. They get so attached to their fantasies of what love is supposed to feel like that they reject real love when it starts to take its own course. :rose:

Of course I believe in love!!! Thanks to Lit I found someone that does not judge me and accepts me for the person I am. And I love her for being the person she is and we know in time, we will be able to make the cross from Lit to R/L, and the reason I believe that it exists?

The fact that even though we are 2 continents apart, we both make the efforts to spend as much time together as possible, and listen to each other and this is without any form of physical contact (yet... ) It is love that drives us forward and in turn will eventually be love that what makes us inseperable.

I DO!!!
oops better not let jenny hear me saying those two words together! :)

I think the non believers are the ones who have been hurt,by someone who they thought was right for them, but really wasn't!! Please believe, the right one will come into your life,at the right moment! I believe in love, because of her!

I believe in love. I am still a believer after almost 11 years. It hasn't always been rosy and we have some differences, but she still owns my heart.

Course, I still have the openness enough to explore things here. ;)

Of course love exists. And it is wonderful.

Some people's capacity to feel it however doesn't.... beyond themselves maybe.

It's real, you just have to work on keeping it. That's where everyone screws up. ;)

If you asked me 18 years ago I would have said that there was no such thing as real love. I was burned by one that said she loved me and I was planning marry her and adopt the baby she was carrying, she pretty much dumped me at the alter. I met my wife and I know now what true love is. I love her more now then what I did 16 and 1/2 years ago.

Yes Love Is Possible

Yes indeed love is still a very real and very possible thing for two people to find and share. Without love there is no hope for a better tomorrow, and without hope there is no chance for the seeds of love to take hold and grow. Some people go through many years of their life before they find true love, or discover that love can be so much more than what they ever thought was possible. If you are in love today then rejoice and count your blessings, and if you are still looking don't ever give up hope. Love yourself for who you are, love others unconditionally, and be willing to open your heart and let love in, and love will find you.

VERY nicely put

All of us are born with the need to share our lives with someone. During the years
the fulfillment of this need can be the cause of constant concern and occasional pain.
For it can’t be fulfilled by one person reaching, but only when two are willing
to meet halfway

I had to look at this thread after seeing the title :) My Joe uses that song in the book we are writing because the main character doesn't want to love again, yet finds himself falling victim to it's spell no matter how hard he tries fight it.

For myself of course I believe in love. I met my Joe on Literotica 17 months ago and it has been joy beyond words. I fall more in love with him everyday and pray it never ends.

I believe in love 100%, but I'd be lying if I said that I was more interested in romantic love than non-romantic. Love for my kids, love for my family... hell, even love for my cat brings me great happiness. Love for a woman, sooner or later, always makes me feel like eating a bullet.

i believe it's the main ingredient of us all

I agree with Elizabeth , It's what keeps us going . hoping one day we will find it . The only problem i see , is when we finally find it we don't know what to do with it !
