Ok so I have hit the kayak carnage porn part of YouTube. So this one here is scary as hell. Section IV of the Chattooga is no joke and shouldn't be taken lightly. There are so many things that were done wrong in this video. First, she never attempted a roll, she flipped and swam immediately. This girl had no business being here and I don't think she realizes how close to dying she came. Second after she swam she took a passive rescue swimming position. When you're in the shit, you need to self rescue and swim like hell to the nearest eddy. You can't wait for your friends to save you. That is all fine and good in Class I and II water when you're learnning but once you step up to Class IV you better have a roll. Finally the guy going after her boat should have let it go. All that water was pushing everything into Crack in the Rock a huge undercut where folks have died before.
