So jealous of your travels. Here, it's a crapshoot either getting there or returning home if you're flying. So many cancellations and so many horror stories of people getting stuck!

Yes I did! Really good feedback too. I have a clearer idea of what to pay attention to moving forward. ☺️

I was certain flying was going to be a shit show, but it wasn’t. I came 2.5 hours in advance to the airport because of all the horror stories I had heard, but it only took me 15 minutes to print the luggage tag and go through security. The flight was right on schedule, too.

My luggage made it to Dublin in one piece and on the same flight with me, too. There was an absolute luggage chaos at the Dublin airport, though. Piles and piles of luggage everywhere, so it was clear there have been lots of problems with flights and luggage all over the world.
 
I always hate leaving. It’s like ripping away a part of myself.
On the other hand, I love being on the road.

I am reading mounds of complaints about luggage going to different countries, showing up 2 wks after the trip, being told to retrieve it yourself(in a different country), reservations changed kids flight and on and on.
I figure the US media doesn't have anything to sensationalize at the moment so airline travel won the pool.
