I believe the 'average 'vote/hit' ratio is around 0.3%. If you are achieving 1% or above, count yourself lucky.

My two stories are 0.26% and 0.86%. After the initial rush of votes whilst on the new list, voting has settled down to roughly 3% of hits.

Feedback is the most useful indicator of how well you story is being received, my feedback runs at about 30% of votes cast.

That's amazing it's so consistent! My vote ratio is 0.27%!
I did get feedback for like 6 out of 8 votes, that's pretty good!

If you are getting that level of feedback - be very happy, I suspect it far exceeds the norm. Are you pissing people off or they happy?

My later story for National Nude Day has achieved over 50 votes in six hours since it was posted, that rate will fall off once it is through the new list. Suprisingly only 1 feedback 'very amusing - keep them cumming' from anon.

Then the story is has no 'controversy' just simple people taking their clothes off and getting laid.

I now have about 80 stories posted and the vote/view hit rate for all is very low, except for the competition entries.

I don't think I'll try to work out the average but at a first glance it must be under 0.01%.

I actually was happy not knowing the exact numbers until this thread popped up. It made me want to run actuals. I only have 3 stories posted.

I think Wingman has benefitted greatly from being in the top 20 in its category on the Top Lists over the last 8 weeks or so and that this has kept people reading long enough to get to the naughty bits, thus increasing my ratio and scores.

My only posting to have a greater than one percent response rate is a poem entitled Romance. It has 3 votes on 252 views for a 1.1 % response rate. It also has 2 public comments. If only I could translate that rate to my other work!

I hear ya, it does suck, I agree.....but I guess it could be worse........you seem to fall into what's the norm on here.

Three things guys don't have going for them.....we're not writting about lesbians, we're not guys pretending to be bi/lesbian girls and we don't have a "hot" chick as our avitar, lol.
