Wheel of Time (based on R.Jordan's books)

OOC: The note Mather recived could be about a powerfull male chaneler that stumbled on one of the doors to the Great Lords Palace, how about that Asmodean? You get to keep going with your line and I get an allie...hee hee...

IC:

Mather let the message tube roll around in his hand before befire breaking the magical seal. In side was a single sheet of parchment, inscribed in a strange code. If someone tried to read it that did not know how to deactivate the trap, the page would imidialty be destyed. The message told about a powerfull wilder that found one of the geats to the Great Lord's Palace. Even unskilled and un-awear, he was able to see through the ilusion that guarded the entrance, and prush aside the spirit guardians.
"This might prove to be of use," Mather though to him self. Most of the men able to chanel side with the Ashaman in the black tower, so having one on my side might be the extra card I need.
Now to try and sway him to the Great lord.

OOC: I am thinking that me and Asmodean can lead the Dark Side together. You go ahead and figure out what happens next Asmodean.

OOC: Sampson and Leviathan, we arent playing in the same age as the books take place, the names are going to be diffrent...

ohhhhhh

hey i fucking love that twist in the story is it going to be before or after?

OOC: I am not sure when in relation to the book our story takes place, but the concept is the same, the dark one is breaking free, and the world is about to explode in war.

IC:

The tall man made is way down the hallways of the Castle of Peace. He was a big man, and his boots echoed down the corador. Jarred walked confidently to Valerios' chambers, for he was an Ashamon after all. Even though he wore both the sword and the dragon, no one whould ever guess who his true master was...

Jarred slamed the door to the meeting hall open and stormed in. "For the love of the lord, it is time you stop shying away from war!" The already present Aes Sedai tsked and set her tea down slowly. "You are not a cowed dog that is afraid of others. Peace can only come through conflict." Jarred stoped, dreww a breath and contineued, omewhat calmer. "I am sorry Valerios, I can get a little caried away as you know...what have I missed out on?"

OOC: As Necromencer hasn't posted, I'll take over Westmarch.

IC: Blern Unarle led the massive knight charge. He swung his sword in a circle, and then hacked off a Vendya knight's head. He let out a fierce battle cry, that was a second later answered by hundreds of others. He cut a swath through the knights, until he was to their general. He hit him on the back of the head, with his hilt, and motioned for his squire to pick him up. "General Tintop is captured!" he shouted shrilly, pretending to be Vendya. They fell for it. They went into full rout. His soldiers caught up to them easily, and slaughtered them all. He laughed heartily. "A full 3,000 knights fall before the forces of High Lord Blern Unarle!" he roared. They road back to camp, and it mobilized once again. The new camp was 10 miles away from the capital. He stood inside his tent, with Tintop unconscious on the ground. Tintop woke up. Blern greeted it by kicking him in the face. "Cut the traitor's head off", he ordered to a gaurd. "You call yourself of royal Westmarch blood, woman? PAH!" he shouted, and watched impassively as the gaurd decapitated him with a sword. "Bring me my best archer", he ordered. In ten minutes, the archer was there. "Put the traitor's head and this note on an arrow, and shoot it into the castle courtyard. Preferably, the king's bed chambers", he said. The archer pinned them both to his arrow and stepped outside. He walked to within 500 feet of the capital and fired the arrow, then walked back. It landed in the king's bathing room, two feet away from where he bathed. He picked up the note and read it: Your idiotic highness,
I have killed General Tintop and slaughtered his knights. We are ten miles from your palace. Surrender now and spare yourself a hard siege. We won't even kill you. All we'll ask for are your weapons. All of them. This is the best and last parly you'll get. If this message is unanswerred or you do not accept, all other communiques will have the added requirement of your nuts and head on a gold platter. Along with the rape of every desirable woman in the city.
Not your friend,
High Lord Blern Unarle of Westmarch

Valerios

Ooc: Sorry, I was in vermont with a sick friend and couldn't get hold of a computer..

Ic: Looking up sedately at the crashing entrance of Jarred and his immediate outburst. Smiling slightly he offered him a chair by the decanter full of wine and looking at the Aes Sedai next to him spoke. "Well, now that we have all gathered here finally, and can enjoy some refreshments, we will begin." at this the Aes Sedai once again sniffed as if smelling something rotten when she looked at Jarred. Putting his hand to his face to stroke his goatee he smilied at her reaction and Jarred's. "Perfect," he thought "with these too at complete opposites right now, should actually get something from them other than platitudes about how a good defense is a good offense and that patience is a virtue."

Avallyn was bored. Simple as that. She stood on her balcony tapping her fingers. She was itching for a battle, anything to draw her interest. Turning away from the ledge she made her way inside. Sending for a servant she thought for a moment. She needed some extra land for a mining project she wished to undertake and she knew the perfect place to get it. Smiling an idea struck her whether the rumors of Mather of the Tower of Ulrath woulds attack her were true or not she would beat him to it. Just then her servant arrived. "M'lady?" she asked nodding her head in respect. "Yes Leandra I wish for you to send a message to the Town or Ulrath and inform Mather I will be confiscating land from our border. You may try to stop be but it will be usless. It is best that you give it without trouble" Leandra smiled, she to had been bored as of late. She was about to leave when Avallyn said "oh and let Illynya know to ready a sizable army please" nodding Leandra took her leave.

Valerios

Leaning back into his chair, Valerios smiled at the two Aes Sedai and spoke "As both of you must know by now, the Aiel are stirring once again, for what reasons I cannot say, and Westmarch is once again slaughtering the Vendya by the thousands. Now, I wonder, what is my best course of action to keep the Westmarchian advance from becoming a whole sale war which will disrupt trade just as badly as the last one did almost twenty years ago? And of course last but not least, since you both have the ears and mouths of your spy networks, could you tell me where Blern Unarle is?" then he waited..

IC:

Mather sat in his chair, slightly pleased that someone had solved his problem. "My armies continue to grow and I am running out of food to feed them. Now the bloddy Aiel shall fill the guts of my Trollocks." Mather went to his righting desk and pulled out some paper and ink to write the orders out to mobalize the army. Avallyn atcked the weakest pat of the plain of the damned, the Mather could aford to leave the rest realtive unprotected. It was time or this war to start, in full.

Already positive the rumors about Mather were true Avallyn prepared for a battle. She sent a god size troop to every town and began the search for able bodied people. The Aiel were good fighters, experienced in not only weaponry but also in close handed combat. Smiling Avallyn watched the troops move out rubbing her hands together in antisapation. She was definitly looking forward to this war and looking forward to showing this Mather exactly what the Aiel were capable of.

The Fevstival of the coming of spring had even the meanist people in the border town in a good mood. People were always looking for a way to cheer themselves up with the constant reminder of the Dark lord only a days ride away. This nigh which signaled the treu start of spring was welcomed with much drinking and dancing and eating.

At midnight you could hear the sound of a few parties still going, but most people had retired to their bed, becuase their was much work to be done tomarow, and Avallyn's draft groups were suposed to be here tomarow.

The village square was abondoned, so no one saw the bright blue line that appered in the middle of the air, horizontaly. The line then pivited and expanded to a large door way. Out of the door pored some of the strangest abominations that men had seen. Trolocks. Great 7 feet tall monsters that looked like bulky meen in black armor, but the faces were that of animals. One had the beak and gleaming eyes of a hawk. Another has the snaping maw of a huge bear or the sharp teeth of a fox. Whetever they looked like they were a bological death machine that tore into the village. Behind the trolocs came the fades. This town was ment to be an example of what hapned when you angered Mather.

Insted of just slotering all of the people, the trolocks begain to capture people and tie them p by the gate way. Mather had left excplicit instructions that this was to be a food run...

By the time dawn hit the village square, their was no buildings to bee sene. All that remained of the border town was blackened mounds where the houses had been and a messgae scrolled in blood on the stone of the square. "We are ready for war. Your men shall fill our bellies."

If a person were to seach the ruins of the village they wouldent find a single body in the entire place.

OOC: I know that this is kinda like how the first book starts, but it seamed appropriate.

The message arrived to Avallyn that next afternoon. Slamming it down on the table she glared at the messenger who backed away from the fury in Avallyn's eyes. All her followers knew how she got when she was angry and it was safe to say no one wished to be around her during those times. Seeming to get a hold on her anger she smiled a smile that sent a chill down the messengers back. " He thinks he has me scared does he. Well he has alot to learn about the Aiel, alot indeed" She turned to the messenger who stood at the edge of the room looking for a way to escape. "You" she said pointing a finger "get me Illynya" the messenger nodded almost running out of the room. A few moments later Illynya knocked then entered. "You wished to see me m'lady?" she asked. "Yes Illynya you are my most trusted adviser and the best general and soldier I have. I want you to take a troop of men, a sizable one mind you and I want you to go to that fort that Mather so treasures that gaurds the mountain pass. This will give us access to most of his mines and to the towns that lie in the valley" smiling leaning back in her chair "I want you to take this fort killing everyone inside except for who is in charge. I want him captured and brought here to me, Do I make myself clear?" Illynya nodded a smile on her lips "Yes m'lady very clear, your wishes will be carried out" with that she turned and headed out of her office. Chuckling Avallyn relaxed no longer angry rather instead she was antisapating and wishing she could see the expression on Mather's face when he learned of this.

The next morning Aiel Soldiers approach the fort:

Illynya stood in front of her soldiers her horse dancing skittish and ready for battle. Raising her arms signiling the archers they came forward flaming arrows aimed. "Steady!" she called as the explosive powder came closer to flam. "Steady!" she called again then just as they were about to explode "FIRE!" Dozens of Arrows flew through the air lodging into wood and soldiers inside the fort. Explosions erupted everywhere along with screams of pain and warning. The arrows were readied again as she signaled the soldiers to be ready. Just then the gates opened and tons of Trolocks came running out with battle crys. "For the Aiel! CHARGE" and with that battle had begun.

Chapter 2

Asiman stood in awe in front of the gigantic double doors.
As he stepped closer to examine them he saw that they were made of lead, not a material particularly hard if you wanted them to hold against a ram or something that would apply pressure. But the disks…. The ten disks that were positioned as to make shape of an eight turned sideways, were the strangest of them all. Filled with runes which he didn’t understand they were surrounded by multicolored gems. Eagerly he reached for one of them and… the moment he touched it a terrible silence befell all around him. Time itself seemed to stop and with dread he anticipated the worst.
For what seemed like an eternity the gem that he had touched started to glow and the cuendillar disk above it started to tilt and finally fell onto the floor breaking in half upon impact with the ground. A tremendous roar was heard.
“AAAAHH!! AT LAST ! THIS TIME NOT EVEN THE CREATOR HIMSELF WILL BE ALLOWED TO IMPRISON ME AGAIN !”
Asiman cowered before this voice and although terrified he discovered he could move a limp. He stood there frozen an helpless to do anything. Then the voice changed and became rich and soft.
“Come forward my child….”
Asiman vision blurred and when it came back to normal the doors were opened and a very strange white light shot at him. From the light emerged a figure that was coming towards him. It appeared to be a middle aged man with some kind of black plate armor with short jet black hair and a small but trimmed beard. His gaze seemed to bore him to heart.
“LLLord.” He stammered and fell to his knees.
The man smiled sightly and gestured for him to rise.
“I know what befell you Asiman and how you came to be here. I know of your power and unlike the others I will not hate you. Instead, I’ll offer you a chance. A chance never to suffer again from other people and use your power for what you really want without accidentally hurting anyone. I’m offering you something that never anyone has offered to you. Control of your life. All you have to do is swear to me undying loyalty and all these will be yours. Do You Accept ? “
All of Asiman’s life came back in flash. All the hate, all the scornful stares the humiliation the punishments he received from his very own people.
“I swear “ He replied.
Suddenly he felt an enormous pain in his chest and before he collapsed to his knees he saw a blue white globe coming out of him and being sucked by the man. As quickly as it came tne pain passed and he felt refreshed and rejuvenated like the day he was born.
“Go now my potential Iblis, travel south through the wetlanders’ countries an in town called Ulrath and seek a person called Mather . He is my eyes and my ears. Do as he tells you for he is one of my chosen as you will be in the future. “
With that the vision blurred and found himself standing in front of the cave staring south. For the first time in his life Asiman looked ahead with hope…

In the morning, Vendya surrendered. The gates opened, and the soldiers threw all their weapons into a pile in the middle of the city. Blern accepted the crown of Vendya with little feeling. After the ceremony, he had both crowns reforged into one. Then, he had heralds ask for soldiers all over the city. His army had tripled in size by the end of the day. He also create a new law. Any foreign dserters from his army would be killed. He then assigned half of the Vendya soldiers to the garrison of the city, then turned his army back to his own capital. They were there in two days. He entered the city among cheering crowds. He sat down on his throne and frowned as a rightened messenger approached him. The messenger reported that the trollocs had attacked the Aiel. Blern cursed and dismissed the messenger. He would have to think about whom he would support.

Victory at the Fort

Illynya stood on the battlements observing all the dead that lie around her. They didn't suffer many losses the Trollocs were caught to much by surprise to put up much of a fight. She scowled, Who ever was in charge managed to escape during the battle, Avallyn wouldn't be to happy about that. She called Lyunia to her. "I'm putting you in charge of this fort and leaving three quarters of my soldiers with you to gaurd it. I want the towns in the valley taken care of.. Kill only who resists and I do not want one chil harmed" Lyunia nodded "Yes M'lady" Illynya nodded then yelling "Section 4 you are coming with me, we are heading home" she looked back at Lyunia "I'm counting on you" then hurried to her horse and home.

Back at the Desert Palace

Avallyn sat at her desk once more happy with the report of victory. Though she was frustrated the leader had not been captured. Oh well mistakes happened. Calling in a messenger she smiled at the timid girl that entered "I want you to send a message to Blern asking him for an audience" the girl nodded "yes m'lady, right away" then she all but ran out of the room. Avallyn smiled, it would be good to be allied with this man, he had a good sense of leadership and had a sizable army. He would be very helpful indeed.

Valerios

Once again the sun light finds the King of the Turan's at his window thinking over all that he has heard in the last few days. Turning from the sunlight now creeping across the floor of his chambers he strode to his desk and began writing. First he composed a quick note to be sent to the Vendya urging the civic leaders to believe the homicidal Blern and his threats. Then he wrote a longer message to Blern congratulating him on a stunning victory and his hoped for wishes of renewed and even greater trade and the offer of aid in many things if need be. Finally he wrote a message to the leader of the Aiel along the lines that he hoped things would remain calm with the Westmarchians and that if she needed any sort of aid at all, she could expect it at a discont price, after all one must be generous to their neighbors. When he had finished he entrusted the letters to his most daring riders and sent them off. Leaning back in his chair he thought quietly over the possible reactions to his messages, and shrugging got up again and went to look out at the fields surronding his capital from his window...

1 day after the messenger from Aiel had arrived at Blern's court, the entire Westmarch army stood arrayed before the Aiel capital, fully armored and weaponed. Then a trumpet note sounded, and flags of alliance were hoisted by every regiment. Blern rode to the gates, and sheathed his sword. "Let us fight the forces of shadow as one force!" he shouted, and a roar of agreement went up from his army.

OOC: Why is every one picking on the forces of darkness? All we want to do is get to gether and party...we just had bad PR.:p

IC: Mather was displeaded. Word of the loss he suffred agianst Avallyn had him angry...he wanted to destroy something. Mather grabbed a clea cyrstal ball and slamed it agianst the door. as the fragments of the once powerfull divination device fall to the ground, their is a knock on the door. "Come," Mather growled in anger at being disturbed.

The servent entered the room and looked at the distruction that had taken the room and cringed. "Some one is here that claims the Lord sent him. We started to turn him out and he fried the first servent. we told him we would tell you. What do you want us to do?"

"I will come to see him, now." Mather grabed his cloak off the peg on the wall and stormed out of the room. The sound of tourtured screams welcomed him. As Mather walked down the coradores, servents cringed out of the way and went on their buisinuss.

Mather opened the door to his waiting room and was taken aback by the man that sat their. It was obvieuse that he was Aiel, but more than that, he was a chaneler that ravialed Mather in power. Mather would have to be carefull with this one, for playing with this would be like playing with lightning. "This one has been through much," Mather thought to himself. Mather walked over next to him and wipered to him. "You have killed one of my men, and claim to falow the Great Lord, who are you?"

Chapter 3
"Who am I, is not important", answered Asiman, "but if you want a name you are free to improvise. Let it suffice that we both serve the Great Lord and that he sent me on an errand of tutelage by you. He commanded that I spend some time with you in order to forge myself strong for what he'll need in the future.I'll accept your tutelage and follow your dictates but keep in mind that my first and foremost duty bounds me to the Great Lord himself and not you."
"By the way, I'm sorry about your man but he sneered when he looked at me. And I shall not ever allow again someone to belittle me because I'm sth that he doesn't like.
So what are your instructions Shalafi ?

Avallyn smiled at the letter from Turan glad to see his offer. She had no plan of attacking him. No right now she was to busy with Mather and his kingdom. She heard shouts and quickly hurried outside to see what the ruckus was about. She was happy to see Blern with his entire army standing before he capitol showing flags of alliance. She approached him two gaurds at her side. She bowed her head in a show of respect then smiled. "It is good to see you friend, please come in. Your men are free to make themselves at him. The Barracks are in the back and have plenty of room" she motioned for him to follow into the palace "come we have much to discuss"

OOC: Asmodian, I am figuring that your char will equal Mather fairly soon.

IC:

"Very whell, I agree, your name dosent mater, all that maters is that we both serve the same Lord. That is good enough for me." Mather sat down in a chair oposite of Asiman, then called for tea. "I am glad our Lord has sent me a new peice. It is being difficalt to fight all the world. I want you to distrupt the aliance between Avallyn and Blern. We have to rely on throwing the world into chaos to win this turn of the whelle."

OOC: Is anyone going to play the Dragon Reborn, becuase I thought it would be cool to have the Dragon.

Blern nodded, smiling. "Aye, Mi'Lady. That we have", he said, following her. When they reached her private chambers, he sat on a stool. "It's been a long time. I almost thought not to come", he smilled, cocking his head sideways at her, studying her once again. "You have changed much since our last meeting. Whe we last met you were but a delusional queen, as I remember. I am glad that you have come to more realistic visions. No offense shall be taken at the former statements, I hope?" he asked, quietly, readjusting his head so it sat normally.

Leaning against her desk she studied him in turn "you have changed as well. I am glad you have come" Running a hand through her hair she began pacing. Something she did when she was nervous or agitated "I am hoping you and me can work out an alliance. I am as you know at war with Mather. That bastard decided to slaughter an entire villiage of mine. Something I will not tolerate, I am sure you have heard of my victory at his mountain fort. A good one giving me the advantage for now. I hold confidense for my soldiers and I know they are good at what they do but I fear I am sorely out numbered" she stopped pacing and faced Blern "I am willing to negotiate an tribute but I do think that an alliance is best for us both. Mather after finishing with the Aiel with have enough territory to not only take your kingdom but more then likely other ones as well. I believe it is best we stop him now. What do you say?" Her gaze met his and she felt a blush creep up her neck. 'What is wrong with me' she thought to herself shaking her head she looked back at him awaiting his reply.

"By delusional I simply meant you sought to change the world far too drastically. And aye, I shall join in alliance, although you'll find that the strength of my armies comes from their spirit, not their numbers", said Blern, watching her curiously, as he saw a blush creeping on her. He smiled charmingly, flashing his white teeth.
