Oc: I've read the whole series so far, it's one of my all time favorites. Back to play!
Ic: Valerios sat at his desk and debated various actions he could take finally setting pen to paper he began to write....
First: He wrote a short note to Blern thanking him for taking the time out of his busy schedule to write back and that the offer of equipment and men was open still. Secondly he wrote about how glad he was that Blern had reconsidered his deal with Mather. And at the end he finished the letter to Blern inquiring about his current feelings on how much wool he might be willing to consider for trade for an equal amout of copper.
Second: He wrote to Avallyn stating that the men and equipment were leaving that day and that he looked forward to sending the balance in a fortnight. He then inquired about her son's consideration of possibly being betrothed to his daughter Caitlin, and if so, would he be willing to meet her. Finally in the letter he inquired if she needed any other things he could provide within reason.
As he finished writing he looked up to see his daughter standing in the doorway of his study. Standing up with a smile he hugged her as she came into the room. Walking with her to the window through which they gazed at the stars he asked her. "I may have a possible husband for you, but only if you and he agree. As I promised your mother before she died that I would give you choice of your husband I give it you now. He is the son of Lady Avallyn of the Aiel and is said to be a good warrior and person. But I will not force this upon you, it is between the two of you. If he decides to come it will be nearly a week before he arrives so consider him, then upon meeting him a few times, make your decision and I will abide by it." and at her nod of consent he smiled and kissed her on her head and walked with her from the study while handing the messenger the scrolls to be delivered.
The quote comes from Metallica's "Don't Tread On Me"

Avallyn hear of the victory a couple days later but not from her General Illynya. She had sent search parties out for her and had found a mutilated body that resembled her a great deal. But that didn't make sense. Illynya was a superb fighter, undefeated in the Aiel. How could she be killed like that. Something did not fit right but Avallyn couldn't put her finger on it. She suspected magic was at play but who had this power? Certainly not Mather, nor would he have the brains to come up with this. Her son entered "Mother I'm packed and ready" she turned towards him a smile forming on her lips. She couldn't help it. He was her pride and joy. "Ok I will send word to Valerios of your departure it should arrive a few days before you do. Now you don't have to agree, just get to know her and see what you think" she hugged him tightly "I have to much to do to see you off but know that I love you and I'll be praying for your safe travel" Her son hugged her back "I'll be carful mother, you take care of yourself to" with that he turned and left his back strait and his head held high, a perfect picture of his father.
Illynya:
Illynya was confused, one minutte she was on her way home the next she was in a cell. She had managed to lure the gaurd and then kill him. Grabbing the key she had left the cell hurrying down the hall. After a while of sneaking around she found a kitchen with a back door and managed to get out. The only thing was she had no idea where she was. She knew she was far from home though. She now sat high in a tree out of sight from prying eyes as she tried to figure what to do. There had to be towns right? and where there were towns there were places to hide. Whoever had kidnapped her was powerful and the only way to get away was to stay one step ahead. Going from tree to tree a technique she had learned from a friend who had claimed to be elven she hurried through the forest.
OOC: That is so funny...very good Welcome back Necro, we went on without you. I am going to be leaving soon for a 5 month camping trip, so eaither you can take over Mather, or Amodean can kill him, I dont care.
OOC:Hey, Necro! Welcome back. Sorry about your old comp. You weren't here so I took over Westmarch. Sorry.
IC: Blern shook his head slightly, then settled down in his favorite chair. He had no idea what was going on, but had a feeling that he wouldn't like it. He picked up a pen and paper agreed to Valerios's trade. He had a messenger send the merchants on their way. He then turned his attention to Aiel. This was a sorely disturbing matter. His head throbbed painfully already, the worst headache he had ever had. He shed his clothes and unabashedly walked to his bathing chamber. Maybe a steaming bath would relax him.
2 hours later:
He lay in bed, dreaming of a black snake with Mather's head on it slithering towards him ever so slowly. He was tied to a large wooden wheel, both hands and feet, and was unarmed. Valerios and Avallyn appeared nearby, with Caitlin and Avallyn's son. He begged them to cut him down, or to kill the snake, but they stood there, and looked scornfully at him. Then Avallyn's son drew two rings, one he set on Caitlin's finger, the other on his. Blern begged more and more, more beseecingly. They did nothing. Then, the children threw their heads back in silent screams, ad suddenly twisted into huge black lions. Alarm took him over. He called a warning out to Valerios and Avallyn, but they paid him no heed, they stroked the black lions' heads lovingly, and for a time the black lions purred and listened. Then the rings still on their claws twisted into snakes and in their rush to trample the snakes they gutted their parents. Blern screamed and the Mather-snake was upon him. It bit him viciously in the neck, and he screamed once more, springing from his bed, and getting servants to turn every light on, and search for black snakes. He then found his best spy. "Go to Valerios's castle. Find out if there is a wedding between Aiel and Turan. Also, find out when it is", he told him, then sat in his favorite chair. He didn't sleep that night. Nor the next. Nor the next. Nor the next...
U know, there was only me and Mather playing the bad guys so I ask that you read the thread so far and tell me your opinion and who exactly are you going to role and how will he/she fit in the story so far.
Avallyn was becomming increasingly worried about Illynya. She had not been back for almost a month now. What was wrong, she was beginning to believe that body had been hers but she really did not wish to. Her son was on his way to Turan and should reach there within a day or so. She hoped he was safe. He was her pride and joy, so handsome and so kind. She was on her balcony a place she went often to think about things. Now he mind turned to Blern and where he was. She hoped he did not think ill of her, when all she could think was of her love for him. The longing she felt was like a knife in her heart, but she had no choice. She could not tell him how she felt, he would laugh or something close to that. Sighing she turned and headed to her private bathing chambers. Stripping out of her clothes she climbed into the bath and closed her eyes for a moment relaxing, after about an hour she exited the bath and climbed into bed. Closing her eyes she soon drifted into a restless sleep.
Illynya:
Illynya hurried through the forest towards the light she saw in the distance. She prayed she wasn't being followed. She had to get back to Avallyn and warn her of the magic afoot. She ran for what seemed like hours until she finally reached a small farm house. Brushing off the dirt on her clothes she tore off the Aiel emblem on her shirt and threw it into the trees then hurried to the front door. She knocked and waited for an answer. An old woman answered her hair greying and her eyes a pale brown. "May I help you mam?" she asked her eyes narrowing taking in the woman before her. "Yes mam my name is" she quickly thought of a name "Lana and I was wondering if I could spend the night here and possibly get some food. My carriage was robbed along with my supplies and I am awfully hungry" Illynya put on a look of despair. The old woman's eyes softened "Of course dear please come in" she ushering her inside "thank you very much" Illynya said entering the farm house.
Finally, days after the dream, he dared to go to sleep. The dream hit again, but this time a whispering voice blew in at the end. "Stop the marriage. Look to the golden circles. To the golden circles!" the voice would breathlessly puff out, then dissapear. Blern stopped going to sleep at all. He began to despair as he saw himself deteriorating in the mirror. Heavy black bags grew under his eyes and his face grew taut. He was very pale, and hadn't slept in four weeks. His spy finally came back. "Lord, it seems the child of Avallyn and the child of Valerios are meeting each other and are planning to marry", was the spy's report. "Good, go back and tell me when they plan to marry", said Blern exaustedly, slumping back into his chair.
Avallyn made plans to travel to Valerious's palace so that the wedding could set a date. Leaving the battle in one of her soldiers capable hands she set of a gaurd and was out of her capitol and on her way by the next morning. The ride was exhausting but all seemed to be going just fine.
Blern was becoming worse by the day. He had grown mean as well. His temper was 100 times worse than it had ever been. He lashed out for the smallest problem. Already, 15 people were hanging in the gallows for stealing minor amounts of gold.
Avallyn arrived at Turan late one evening. As she rode through the gates she smiled and nodded to people greetings. Dismounting her and two gaurds headed into the castle. One of the servents settled them in a sitting room and left to get Valerious.
Blern went to the training rooms, where he could hardly lift his sword. He lifted it after a while, and struck at the target, it barely grazed the target, but it took so much out of him that he went into a coma. Thankfully for him, no dreams.
I have decided the I will not offer my SORELY NEEDED talents to this wonderous and captivating thread. Reading I have discovered that a few of you have obiously not read the books and so had to start with a barren wasteland of a thread. But you have put your generous writing skills to good use and turned this thread into a neverending river of creativity. Alas! I can't bring myself post on this thread that I abandoned, however unwillingly!
I must go, but I will continue to read this masterpiece!
( Shakespear, eat your heart out!
Same to you, Robert Frost!! )
Can someone please tell me why this forum has changed so much?
I mean, what happened to the threads that would probably go on forever? For example, The never ending thread does not seem to have lived up to its name, Diablo 2 is long gone asnd my warcraft thread has been erased from existance!
Change sucks, but we all have to face it.......
NeCrOmE...wait a minute...oh shit, I am fucked up!
