I have posted at all the forums and find the Playground to be the most friendly...I once posted at the general board about why nice guys finish last and my post was not much different than the others but because I was an outsider they totally blasted me ..Kinda hard to want to go back there when it seems to be run by a dozen or so people and it seems you must agrree with them or your ass is not welcumed there ...I do still post there if there is something worth while ..I just like the friendlyness here but still wonder why P.G.E left hope she cums back soon..Well I guess I will always just be a P.g*****r...Take care all and have a great day

Well Art I have looked at that thread and I think it could be a good one but the attitudes at the G.B. really make want to stay away from there ..Maybe if you tried it in the how to it would help more people on a serious basis..Anyway loved the thread do not love where its at..

As others have said, the GB leaves something to be desired in the welcoming area. The few times I have posted there I have been made to feel extremely unwanted there. Whereas here, I have felt welcomed. *hugs KS*

As a one-year vet of Lit........

I can tell you that between the GB and the Playground,
more things get lost in the shuffle on the GB, and there
seems to be more of a "clique" and "office politics"
atmosphere on the GB, though I do post up there from
time to time. The Playground is a much friendlier
place to be at......believe me! I remember before
"the Playground" was created, it was just all Personals
forum and that is where I opened my cafe! I remember
thinking that if I started up the cafe on the GB, there
would have been a very high chance it would have got
lost in the shuffle...........and now many, many posts
later, the Cafe is doing very well here and seems to
have spawned other members to creat fun places to
go such as playhouses, the sandbox, etc.


I know from experience that I've been knocked on
the GB........its ridiculous.....sure, I know the GB is
supposed to be the forum for everything and the kitchen
sink but there seems to be that "clique" who likes to
knock people down. However, I know I have met
some cool people on there........and if there are those who
give me a hard time, I give them a hard time back and
let them stew in their own stew.....

I believe in voicing own opinions, and I remember the
initial split of the Personals forum into 2 sections, and
I voiced my opinion both on the personals and the GB,
and certain people on the GB blasted me, but I stood
my ground. See, there are those who hang out in certain
areas, and never come over this way to see what its like.

I know the Playground has been great in terms of the
state/regional threads.........the NYC one has been terrific
in getting people together for fun outings and such, such
as the one this past Friday.

The GB is for the dickheads who just want to argue,putdown & flame anyone that they don't agree with so if you want to be dicktated to in how your meant to think go to the GB & enjoy yourself....as for me I still use my brain so I'm quite happy here with ppl I've made friends with & some who are now R/L friends.

Don't be afraid, Knightstalker; once you wean yourself off of false stroking from the unhappily married women on the Playground, you'll be free to experience real life on the GB.
