When Darkness Falls

Fry

"Amelia" He reached out his hand towards her. "Forgive me." He pleaded with her. A man stepped into the alley behind Amelia and pointed a gun at her.

"That's far enough Miss, stop and turn around." The stranger said behind her. He was tall with light blonde hair, and blue eyes. He almost looked angelic except for the gun he was holding.

Fry pulled out a gun of his own and pointed it at Amelia. "You need to get in the car. Don't struggle, it will only make things harder for you."

She got to the end of the alley and the man said,

"Amelia, forgive me."

Amelia stopped and said, "It is you." She stopped and looked at him and laughed, "Where have you been all this time?" Her laughter stopped when she saw the look on his face and heard from behind her,

"That's far enough Miss, stop and turn around." She turned around and looked at the blonde man with the gun and whipped around to confront Fry. "What the hell is going on?" she yelled.

"You need to get in the car. Don't struggle, it will only make things harder for you."

Amelia reached for her gun and then remembered that she had given it up at the church. She looked past Fry and could see a car waiting for them. The blonde man standing behind her nudged her with his gun and she started walking. She was unarmed and knew what Fry was capable of and the other guy looked like he knew what he was doing, so she had no choice but to get into the car. She turned and hit the blonde guy. As she struck him she threw her cell phone into the darkened alley behind him.

OOC: Blonde guy with gun

The woman struck him hard across the face. "Now that wasn't fair at all, your lucky I don't hit women." He smirked at her just before he smashed his elbow into her face. He laughed as she sunk to the ground unconscious. “Well there’ll be no more trouble from her.” He said to Fry.

Trent hoisted the woman on to his shoulders and dumped her in the backseat of the waiting car. “Lets go before there’s anymore trouble.” Fry jumped in the back with Amelia, and Trent in the front with the driver. The car squealed out of the alley and headed away from the hospital.

The car pulled into a large estate just outside the city. Large trees lined the driveway, cutting through the rolling green lawns surrounding a gorgeous three-story manor house resting in the center. The estate was picturesque, looking exactly like something from a film set, except for the high walls surrounding the grounds with security patrolling the area.

The car pulled into the garage and the engine was turned off. A servant met the group as Trent pulled Amelia out of the car and put her back on his shoulder. “Tell her Maestosita that her guest has arrived and we will be placing her in the guest room.”

The small group climbed the stairs to the third floor and dumped Amelia on the bed. The room was large, and lavishly furnished. There were curtains, but the windows had been long ago covered over with brick. The view of the windows from outside was that of a regular window, with the entire trimming, but inside only brick. The room had been set up for other “guests” anything that could be used as a weapon had been long removed.

Fry patted Amelia down for any weapons that she could use against them. In his search, he realized that her cell was missing. “No weapons, let’s go,”

The three men left the room and locked the door behind them.

Leola

Leola was sitting in a chair by the mock windows reading a book when she heard a quiet knock at her door. "Enter." She said, not looking up from her book. It was Sylvia. Leola let her stand there, waiting while she took her time finishing the page then setting the book down. "What is it?"

"Your guest has arrived Signora." Sylvia said with a little curtsey.

“Perfect, tell her to come down to the sitting room, I’ll be there shortly.”

When Sylvia left the room, Leola jumped up and began to spin around laughing. Fresh blood, and new entertainment, everything was working out so perfectly!

Screaming louder, she recognized Dahmnall.

"YOU SONS OF BITCHES HELP ME. IT BURNS FUCK IT BURNS" she screamed. Whatever was in that little bastard she had drank from was killing her slowly. It was litereally burning her from the inside. Smoke began pouring from her mouth again as she called to Alaric and Dahmnall.

"PLEASE HELP ME FOR GODS SAKE IM BURNING ALIVE ALARIC DAHMNALL HELP ME" she cried. Blood tears began coursing down her face. If she lived, someone would pay. Whomever made those faggots would pay. Dearly.

Before Amelia was fully conscious she could feel her face was in pain and couldn't understand why. Everything started to come back to her and she remembered that she was being kidnapped. She sat straight up and her head started spinning. She fell over clutching her head and remembered that she had attacked the blonde guy and he had elbowed her in the face.

When everything stopped spinning she started to take a look around. She noticed that she was lying on a bed in a large room. She noticed the door and got up slowly. She tried to open it but it was locked. She walked over to the window and Amelia flung open the curtains but there was only a brick wall.

She looked around at the richly furnished room trying to find a weapon and came up empty handed. Where was she? How was Fry involved with this? This and hundreds of other questions went through her head. If she hadn't called the cops she could have been with Dahmnall and Alaric right now instead of in the creapy room with a headache. She remember seeing the guy that had been dressed all in white before she left for the hospital. At least someone had seen her and knew that she had gone to the hospital. Hopefully someone would find her phone but that wouldn't do any good except help them track where she had been after they find her mangled body.

Fry

Fry knocked softly on Amelia's door, when he didn't hear a reply he walked in the room carrying a simple white cotton dress. She was standing in the middle of the room. He tried not to look at her, but he hadn't seen anyone that he cared for since before his disappearance. He stared for a while, but didn't want to look in her eyes and see the hatred he knew that she must be feeling.

"Amelia, here put this on, you really don't want to go and meet her wearing bloody cloths. It would be like waving a mouse in front of a cat, you wouldn't last five minutes with her."

He dropped the dress on the bed. "There are a couple of rules here that you need to follow if you want to stay alive. You can't leave this room unless you are with a woman named Sylvia or myself. When you go and see the Maestosita, you must be respectful, and don't look into her eyes. You must tell her everything that you know about your hunter friends, that is the only way that we are all going to get out of this. You must do these things Amelia, your life depends on it."

He quickly looked at her to see if she understood what he was saying.

She had been looking under the bed and finding nothing when she heard the lock on the door click and a knock at the door. She scrambled up and away from the bed then she saw Fry walk in. He walked in carrying something white and Amelia glared at him while he stared at her.

"Amelia, here put this on, you really don't want to go and meet her wearing bloody cloths. It would be like waving a mouse in front of a cat, you wouldn't last five minutes with her."

As he walked over and dropped the dress on the bed she snarled at him,

"That's very considerate of you. You sick bastard."

He finished telling her the rules and when he looked at her she said,

"Why are you going along with this? What would Sara think of you? She has been worried sick and you've been playing lap dog for some psycho."

Fry

"You don't understand! I have to do what she says, she has the....." There was a quiet knock at the door. Fry walked over and opened it. A small blonde woman walked in.

"Amelia, this is Sylvia, she will show you to the Maestosita, when you are dressed."

He walked out and shut the door, leaving Amelia alone with Sylvia.

Amelia watched Fry walk out and went to vent her anger on the girl Sylvia. But when Amelia turned to the girl she looked so beaten down and pathetic that Amelia didn't have the stomach for it.

Who ever "Maestosita" is she must be a vampire. Amelia deduced. She is after Dahmnall because he is the only hunter I know and she has a thing for blood.

Amelia pulled off her jeans and t-shirt and slipped into the dress. She looked down and snorted,

"Now all I'm missing is my hair in pigtails and pink shoes."

She turned to Sylvia and said,

"What no ruffly pink socks and a lollypop?"

The girl gave her a blank look so Amelia said,

"Figures. No backbone; No sense of humor. Well then lead the way out if you can handle it."

Sylvia

"Figures. No backbone; No sense of humor. Well then lead the way out if you can handle it."

Sylvia turned around and opened the door and stepped back so the woman could walk through. Sylvia led her down to the main floor and into a sitting room that was blue and in different shades of blue. There was a fireplace, but the fire was out, but the lights were on although dim. Sylvia motioned towards a chair.

Amelia looked around as Sylvia led her around. She noticed that all of the windows were covered in brick. She only a couple of guards every so often. Sylvia led her to blue room and offered a chair. Amelia's head was still hurting so she sat down.

Leola

Leola strolled into the sitting room wearing a silky purple dress. "Ahhh my dear," she said in soft and breezy voice, "Sorry to have kept you, but i'm sure you understand."

Leola sat on a chair that was larger and more lavish than Amelia's, almost making it look like Leola was sitting on a throne. "Sylvia, go and fetch some refreshments for our guest, she has had quite the ordeal." she said snapping her fingers at Sylvia, as the girl scampered out.

"Now, my dear, I am absolutly sure that you would like this whole mess to be over with as quickly as possible. Oh dear, I am forgetting my manners, introductions first, i am sure. I am the Gran Signora of this household, Leola Valerio.

Amelia watched a tall doll like woman walk into the room and apologised for keeping her waiting. Amelia was starting to wonder if she had slipped down a rabbit hole or her head had been hit harder than she thought. The woman ordered Sylvia about for refreshments and introduced herself. Everything was so strange from the woman's behavior to the room decor. The woman was wearing a light purple dress which set off her black hair and she had the brightest green eyes that Amelia had ever seen.

Leola

"Now my dear, we musn't be rude, if I am to conduct buisness with you, you must atleast give me a name to call you by"

Sylvia walked in with tea, she poured two cups and left. Leola picked up the tea cup and put it to her lips but didn't drink any. The tea set was an antique. It had a pink flower pattern on it, it looked like a set a child would treasure.

Amelia was starting to get impatient with all of this show and was hoping that there would be a point soon. She couldn't believe that she was getting chastised by her kidnapper for manners.

"Amelia. I'm sorry I just assumed you would know the people you kidnap."

dahmnall

Dahmnall got out of the car and saw alaric with the slayer who was herself a vampire, from the night before. "What the fuck is the with her?!" dahmnall yelled, losing it. Though between this crazy bitch screaming, and his uncle bleeding from gunshot wounds in the car, and this inexplainable feeling of something bad happening, he figured he earned it

Leola

Leola put down her tea and laughed like Amelia had said some joke that had been extremely funny. "Oh my dear girl, you are just a pawn in this little chess game, a tiny creature blocking my way. So we can either keep this civilized, or we let things get a little uncomfortable.”

Leola took another pretend sip of her tea and set the cup down again,”You are going to tell me everything you know about the hunter you’ve been seen with, who his allies are, where he sleeps, what his weaknesses are, everything.”

Amelia began to wonder if Leola was crazy. What hold did Leola have over Fry? Maybe he could help get her out.

"So we can either keep this civilized, or we let things get a little uncomfortable.”

Amelia looked over at the other woman trying to judge how much harm she could do to her. She started to think about when she said that she doubted that she would have survived a fight like what Dahmnall and Cecillia had and started to realize that she probably wasn't going to live much longer.

”You are going to tell me everything you know about the hunter you’ve been seen with, who his allies are, where he sleeps, what his weaknesses are, everything.”

Amelia picked up her tea and said,

"How can you be sure I would know any of those things? I'm no help to you. You should let me go."

It had not taken long for Kyrev to reach the hospital, but by the time he had reached there, the officer was gone. Obviously, they had decided not to keep her in overnight and discharged her almost instantly. That meant there would be no ansers from her, and he wasn't sure he could talk to the others.

Suddenly, he caught a faint scent. He was sure it belonged to the officer! She had been right were he was standing, and not that long ago. The faint trail seemed to lead off into an alleyway, and he would follow!

Moving in, he was sure this was the trail. Absolutly posative! But she wasn't here alone. No, there were two thers that had been here. She had gone with them, perhaps? Were they hunters? Possable. He saw something glint in the moonlight out of the corner of his eye and stooped to pick it up. Cell phone. Her cell phone. Normally that meant that you don't go willingly if you leave things like that laying around. Turning it on, he braught up the last number to ring. 20 minutes ago. About the time it took him to get here. He hit the redial.

A man ansered.

Kyrev kept his voice even, betraying no sign of emotion. "Where is she?"

Leola

Leola watched as the dark blonde woman picked up the tea cup, "How can you be sure I would know any of those things? I'm no help to you. You should let me go."

Leola laughed again, "For your sake, I hope you do have information. And I would start giving up said information, before I decide that you are worthless to me."

Leola thought to herself, bait doesn't need to be alive.

Elizabeth

"Where is she?"

Josh looked at the phone and just as rudely replied,

"She's right here." and tossed the phone to Elizabeth who was running over her lines for A Midsummer Night's Dream. She grabbed the phone and said,

"Hello?"

Amelia

Amelia thought that it wouldn't matter if she told Leola anything or not, she would probably be killed anyway. She looked into Leola's tea cup when she set it down and noticed that no liquid had been drained. She's having a pretend tea party, Amelia thought and tried to suppress the hysteria that was threatening to over take her. Thoughts of the Mad Hatter and his tea party started to go through her head. Was she Alice or the March Hare. She figured Sylvia would be the Dormouse. She looked into her cup and decided that there would be no point posioning her tea, that woman is crazy.
