When things move beyond Literotica

Amen, Sister! Been there, done that, bought the movie rights.

Hi celticlass~

Well if you bought the movie rights I must have written the book LOL. :nana:

I met a married man on Lit. We were just chat buddies, nothing really sexual. Just became friends. His wife left him a few months later, not because we were chatting, as she had many chat partners from what I've heard. But over problems that were there prior to us meeting on Lit.

Over the course of the year, after she left him, I moved in with him and we are now happily married and expecting our first child together, due in 3 weeks. :)

Neither one of us lied to each other while chatting and it was easy because we were just really good friends..

It is hard to tell how we met though. With his family and mine, we just had to say we met on a message board. I don't think family would want to know we met on Literotica. It's our little secret, so it kinda makes it fun when we used to explain and give the all-knowing smile to each other.

Hi Camileah~

I am glad things have worked out so well for the two of you. Just goes to show you what can happen if both people are honest from the beginning. Good luck with the birth of your baby. You will have to stop back in and let me know how you and the baby are doing. Take care, best wishes.

So many readers thought I would give it a bump to the front again and see what happens. Happy Father's Day to all the dad's that maybe reading this thread. :) Mine pasted away last year so this is a sad day for me.

Glad this happened for you

I know from experience that a wonderful relationship can develop from a lit meeting. It's good to hear about yours. Best of luck!

Hi dixie50~

Good to hear that you have had wonderful luck with your Literotica relationship experience as well. It would seem there are some good men lurking around Literotica. Cheers to the woman who are lucky enough to find them.

Gee...it seems like Lit is almost like real life
Ya meet a few new friends and an occasional winner :rose:

B

I think you might be right here Big Guy. It is a lot like real life. A little backwards but similar :)

Hi BigGuyPA44~

Both good and bad things can happen on Literotica just like in real life. It just depends on how you handle them and what you make of them. Good things can turn bad in the blink of an eye when not handled correctly. Good things handled with care and understanding can be heaven on earth and last a lifetime.

And sometimes it just takes patience...

Here I've been, happily playing in the playgrounds when I am here, but spending a significant amount of my online time chatting with the most amazing man. I had checked my pic threads yesterday and noticed a post from a Lit newbie.

Let me back up... In my earliest posts on this thread, I mentioned a very dear friend I'd lost when his online activities came to the attention of his wife. He'd told me to be patient and he'd find me again. Well... He's the Lit newbie who'd posted in my thread!!! He found me! He referenced something that literally only 4 men in the world know about me, and one was upstairs in bed at the time, one doesn't post to the forums and the third said it wasn't him. That was THE best way to start my yesterday! :D My aforementioned amazing man kept it going right up until I went to bed.

Myeh, I dunno... The one who was lost and now is found is great and wonderful - reuniting, that is - but his return to my life created a bit of tension between Cuz and me, which isn't good. We had all weekend to resolve it, though.

Any luckier, and I'd have to be twins. :D Only thing that'd be better would be for my Aussie sailor to move to the States, one state in particular. ;)

Hi Celticlass~

Looks like you have the situation under control. Good luck getting your Aussie to move lol. Maybe you could plan a trip? :)

There is the dream of him moving, then there's the reality. The reality is, no matter how awesome and incredible he is to me, I'm still married and don't wish to change that. The situation is under control, though, and I'm enjoying myself immensely.

Hi ima6uldv8~

You don't have much longer to wait. I hope your time together is all that you want it to be and then some lol. :nana:

This thread needs a bump, and it'd be such a good topic over on the Playground.

I had a relationship that went from Lit to real life. This guy and I met through the story section of Lit. He'd seen my profile and contacted me through "feedback." At the time, I didn't have any stories up. We emailed back and forth a bit, then we started chatting. We met - rather by surprise - a couple of weeks later. He lives in my area, and we work in the same city. About once a month we get together for lunch. We're very happy just being friends; we're both in committed relationships. But he's one of my dearest friends. A story of it actually rather working out. :)

So far I have only chatted with one person on Lit. I have been completely honest with her, as I would with anybody. I would hope she has been the same. It's unlikely we would ever be able to get together because of distances and relationships. However, if we could, I would. Hopefully, there would be no surprizes.

I'll say I have met some of the most amazing people through this forum. I belong to 2 other threads and have made platonic friends as well as FWB's. It's all about how far do you want to take it.

I've been online since the early 90s. I have met dozens of people from online relationships in person (none from here yet). Almost every time, when meeting them in person, it was like you had known them for years.

Some people can pull off online AEs (AlterEgos) but those folks are usually disturbed from the getgo.

The online community is just a reflection of the "real" world in general, you don't get any more flakes, or less, online.
