Um, it's distracting enough putting a condom on before sex. Taking it off to cum "somewhere else" when I'm fully engaged doesn't sound like a very attractive idea.

I've NEVER heard of such a thing. The purpose of the condom is to catch the semen and keep it out of the vagina, where the sperm can swim up and fertilize the egg and fluid infected with STDs can get in the vagina or penis. So, it's not necessary to pull out and come somewhere else when you're wearing a condom.

Sure, pulling out would provide some extra protection, but if you're that close to coming, you'd likely continue wearing the condom to come.

To review, here's process most people use:
1) He gets hard
2) S/he or they put the condom on the erection
3) They have sex
4) He ejaculates INSIDE of the vagina WITH the condom on
5) He starts to soften slightly, pulls out of the vagina
6) S/he takes the condom off, with the semen still in it

It's more of a porno thing. Done more for show then anything. But like someone said you go through all the trouble of getting one on and to take it off just to cum is not worth it. I can imagine if your woman does not use any other form/way of birth control but you both are sure you are safe on all other matters (STD's and so on) you would/could use the condom to fuck and choose to cum somewhere else. Why not.

Just to clarify, as well as speak from the voice of experience - when I was engaged to my now-EX husband, we used the "pull out" method (sans condom) the first time we had PIV sex. We have an almost 30 year old son to prove that this method of BC does not work!
