So I thought it would only be fair to show you mine since you've shown me yours...

I was with the same man for 13 years, dating for three and married for 10. We separated last winter and I've been on my own since then. I still care deeply for him, but could never go back to that life.

I love a man back in my home state. He means the world to me. I can't seem to move past it. But he's not coming here to be with me, not anytime soon. I haven't really released myself to get into a new relationship because it could hardly be fair.

In the meantime, I have this newly rediscovered sex drive that makes me crazy sometimes. I date around... you know the old song, "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with..." Yeah, that's pretty much me right now.

I do still long for real love from a partner who was here with me, walking through the day to day stuff that makes life what it is.
