Why is it so Challenging...

If anyone had the desire to get a better idea of what my definition of "sub tendencies" is, they can easily search my post history (which is what I do prior to initiating contact), or they can simply ask me.

And honestly, I don't feel the need to provide justification for what I'm hoping to find, or how, just as I wouldn't expect anyone else to.

But thanks for the input and good luck in your search.

If they aren't taking the time to do this then they aren't worth it

To find a younger man who is comfortable with his sub tendencies?

I'm not into anything hardcore by any means. I prefer the dynamic to have a heavy emphasis on exploration, connection and nurturing acceptance as opposed to stern force. I consider myself a strong woman but I am not interested in humiliation or degradation.

Any men interested in discussing...the PMs are always welcome:rose:

Because today's younger male isn't really a male. They have been beaten down by the culture and are void of masculinity. So to them, sub is normal. It's not taboo.

I’m curious Feelfreetotouch, how do you define masculinity? I’m aware this is may be a trolling comment but I’m genuinely curious how you construct the notion of what it is to ‘be a man/manly’.

I think part of the challenge might be big words, proper grammar and correct spelling.

Just a thought 🤔

Carry on.

Indeed, to quantify one’s masculinity without depending on self-destructive patriarchal touchstones does take a degree of literary aptitude 😛 as well as an equally keen mind to appreciate it.

Some decent punctuation wouldn’t go amiss either...

Proper punctuation is key!

It can certainly save you from some terrible misunderstandings!!

I would love to know your thoughts on the notion of masculinity if you’d care to weigh in.

I can only state that in my opinion, masculinity has more to do with thought and action than biology.

I wholeheartedly agree with that! To be honest I’ve never found the spectrum dominance to be particularly relevant to gender identity. I have some more philosophical musings on the subject but I’d hate to bore everyone with them :D

Thank you Lady Jenna :) I would be particularly interested in your perspective on such musings.

In brief I was thinking about masculine and feminine traits independent of biology or social paradigms and one thing I thought of was how each end of the spectrum approach acting for others. The masculine response seems to be centred around provision/protection while the feminine response seems to be centred around nurturing/nourishment (in a more conceptual sense). It’s a pretty vague distinction but I seem to see it apply to a range of social behaviours, including sex and the manifestation of dominant/submissive traits.

You have some very interesting views, Eloquent, I appreciate your ability to share them.
