Why? Why Not? Why On Earth?

Oh, please, like I don't do enough damage to my cred in here already.

hmm I dont recall having any action figures that took battries. I had toy with a friction moter once though.

There were batteries in the Ghostbusters fire station I think *g*

Ummm.. aren't there lots of anatomical reasons why they doesn't work so well?

Hey...when you're 11 years old, it matters not if they are anatomically correct. lol

<laughing> oh man.. Barbies... (in '72, I didn't even know what naughty things were!!!)

I had a few Barbies, but I was mostly a bookworm, preferring a quiet corner and a good book to nearly anything. I'm still like that, it seems.

My brother and I had Jane and Johnnie West. Anyone remember those?

I don't know why, but I did (know what naughty things were at that age).

I had a "Julia" barbie (the old tv show from the 60's), a couple of Barbie and Skipper dolls, Ken, GI Joe, and Johnny West.

I was a major bookworm, too.

That's not how I remember it. There isn't an 11 year old boy in the world who hasn't stolen his sister's Barie, whipped off her kit and cried ; "Awwwwww!!!"

Eeeeww.. the thought of my brother doing that. Ick.
See, you have to know my brother. He's nothing like me. Or if he is, he keeps it very well hidden. Which is probably what I should do. That is not to say that I undressed my Barbies to.. oh... Neffer mind.

God. I need coffee.

Oh well. You know, they do make anatomically correct dolls now. Of course they are lifesize, made of latex and cost somewhere around 7000 dollars. I think they need batteries too..

I don't have a younger sibling, and when my son (9.5 yrs now) reaches 11, his sisters will be almost 19; if he searches out and steals their old Barbies then, I'll let you know. Hmm...on 2nd thought, don't think I'll let anyone know that. lol

You may think no male in your family has done this, but you are just fooling yourselves... :D

I guess I could ask my nephews and my neice's husband if they did. LOL! Of course, they'll all wonder if auntie has gone off her rocker!

We tend to assume that as a baseline here...

*giving Paul "that look"* Paul....come here. Let me get back on my rocker and rock over your foot!

Gee... it notmally takes a little longer than this for women to start threatening me with pain...

laughing, I remember checking out my cousin's dolls. but that may lead to a whole different thread, so we'll drop it.

do anyone remember the doll that grew boobs when you rotated one arm in a full circle?

now here's the frightening part. how many little sisters got dislocated shoulders because an older brother tried rotating her shoulder like that?

A doll that what? LOL... OK, Dalt, this thing did not come from Wal-Mart, right?
