In the box where I've kept some toys for a while, is also a stash of DVDs and even some VHS tapes containing porn. Most of it dates from a time before there was porn for every taste, free, in every corner of the internet. I seem to recall that one used to have to go to the 'adult book store' to get that kind of thing.

One of my favorite pieces of merchandise in that box is a video released in 1986 called 'Three Daughters,' distributed by Femme Productions and directed by a woman known as Candida Royalle. The Femme concept was that they would sell porn made by women to be marketed to women. Three Daughters has real production values - good locations, competent story-telling, attractive people and hot, steamy sex. The story: Mom and Dad have three daughters. We discover that two of them are sexually active. One is engaged and active with her intended. The middle daughter is sexually active with her piano teacher. Oh yes, Mom and Dad an attractive middle-aged couple, are also still sexually active. And, the baby of the family who voyeuristically watched the 'piano lesson' loses her virginity in the concluding scenes of the film. Strawberry!

My ex and I must have watched all Candida Royalle's films together, as well as some of the other quality films produced by the female directors of that time, and the results were always hot, hot for us both.

At that time, there were a number of female directors, most of them having worked in front of the camera at one time, so the films were heavy on plot, dialogue, setting and production values, which made for a much richer and far more relatable experience.

I do. I find it odd that its even a question. Why shouldn't women enjoy porn? Maybe it's a generational thing, and the availability of it. I've been enjoying it since my teens.
