Words it pleases you to use

I think I used "frenulum" once and was damned glad to get to do that. Because it's cool that there are words for every little thing. Like "philtrum."
I have a semi-complete (read ‘paused’) story in which the MMC finds the MFC’s philtrum entrancing. 😄

Edit. Looking at this now, I’m not sure why I’m so happy with that. Meh - I am.

One of the words I'm very fond of is "nethers". It evokes both the nastiness of "pussy" and the clinical correctness of "genitals" while being folksy and still lyrically rolling off the tongue. To me words have a taste. And nethers tastes like country gravy, creamy, rich and filling, lacking the sophistication of hollandaise sauce but with a taste all its own.

I love the words, 'Of Course,' as in 'What are you crazy.' I use them a couple of times in every story, for example; "I slipped on my black spandex dress and then dipped my toes in my new six-inch pumps, of course, they are shiny, with no smudges, and loud. Everyone will know it's me clicking on the tiles." Ha, love that for some reason...

I also get a little shiver when I use the word nonchalant, sounds so formal, and so cool as a cucumber.

Succulent, luscious. Malevolent.

Also, not sexy sounding or cool in anyway, but I have a character that uses the expression "Are we cross?" Not sure why I like it, but I do.

Once you send a reader to the dictionary you've broken whatever erotic spell you were trying to weave. Afraid I have no idea what some of the words that have been offered up here mean--and I have a pretty good, educated working vocabulary.

I find dictionaries highly erotic!

Though not very arcane or recondite, "wonderful" and "gorgeous" pop up ad nauseum for me. My Roget is bookmarked at those pages for quick access to make changes.

Flaccid and fecund are two of my favorites. Honorable mentions to flummoxed and gewgaw. And in the spirit of the word mounted which had already been mentioned, I agree that it conveys great emphasis regarding the act and the actors, I get the same buzz from sodomized, a harsh word I know, but one which eschews euphemism. Which brings me to eschews…..
