World Cup

Spain 2 France 0

Viva Espana! Spain completely outplayed tournament favourites France in Dallas Stadium to reach the World Cup final.
Goals from Mikel Oyarzabal (penalty) and Pedro Porro sank France and it would have been three but for a strike by 19-year-old Lamine Yamal being ruled out for a marginal offside.
Spain looked like a solid team unit; France appeared to be a collection of individuals who lacked confidence and creativity.
Kylian Mbappe, one of the world's greatest players, was totally ineffective for France.
In Sunday's final, Spain will meet the winners of tomorrow's second semi-final between Argentina and England, being played in Atlanta.
The losers face France in Saturday's third-place play-off in Miami.
