My friend just said that as of yet, we are NOT at war, and that even with the news saying this is a proclamation for war, that it is just a rumor at this time. The military of the US has not been advised tht we are at war.

The 2 from Boston hit the WTC. The 3rd in route to LA- hit the Pentagon. The 4th in route to San Fransisco down in Somerset Co. So, I think people are settling down and getting the correct, confirmed info. now.

BBC has just speculated that the attack may have been the result of more than one terrorist group acting in co-operation and co-ordination with each other.

It is obviously an attack that has been in the planning stage for a long, long time...

Force. I'm in favor of tracking these people down. I'm in favour of taking them to court. I'm in favour of strapping them to an electric chair and killing them slowly and painfully.

In the hours following Oklahoma City, there's was wide speculation that the perpetrators were Shiite Muslims. The media will speculate all day before they get actual facts.

Whoever engineered this are not mere terrorists, can you imagine how difficult it is to hi-jack one plane, let alone all of these planes simultaneously? These are not amateurs, the scary thing to me is what could be done with real weapons of war, not just commercial airliners.

If somebody were to write a fictional story like this, it would seem utterly preposterous.
