Worrisome problem during sex

This is of course a little embarrassing, but at the moment I haven't been able to find any help else where on the net. Aside from finding terrifying articles on STDs, cancers and tumors. Which was very far from comforting.

The past two times I have engaged in sexual activities I have bled during and after. It's not a lot, but usually enough from him to notice it as he's stimulating my G-spot. I've also noticed that it usually starts when he is rubbing my G-spot. So it's possible that we're using too much pressure or friction in that department.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice to share. I'm of course going to the gynocologist as soon as possible, but my yearly appointment is not for another month. Although if this continues, I'll probably be scared into getting a rush appointment.

 Well two questions, what time of the month was it, and have you been under a lot of stress? If it's close to when your period would start anyway or if you've been under a lot of stress you get spotting more easily.

Some other thoughts - have you noticed that you bruise more easily on the rest of your body, or not? Have you used any new objects or chemicals down there that might have irritated your memberanes? If you are on birth control pills, have you missed any this month? Have you had problems with dehydration or allergies recently? And this might seem like a 'duh' one, but are your guy's fingernails in need of a trim?

My wife used to have same experiences. I thought I did it too hard or something. Anyway, she went see gynocologist, and was diagnosed with infection.
She got to normal afterwards.

I would most certainly go see a doctor. I assume you know when your period is and thus be able to rule that one out or not. Unless you have always lost blood in between periods. I guess a lot of stimulation could trigger it then but you would not find it abnormal if you lost blood before when it was not that time of the month.

Also, is the blood light red or a bit brownish? If it looks brownish it's "old" blood and could have been there for a while already, coming out when you have sex, but if it's light red (and also thinner then most of the time) it's claerly "new" blood, but could still be from menstruation or in between spotting.

If you have not used any objects that are too big or sharp (even long nails can harm you; the tissue is easily torn by something sharp down there!) and you've ruled the regular blood out somewhat I would go to your doctor NOW if I were you! You can never be too sure about things like this, honestly!

Take care!

There are litterally dozens of things it could be. It could be an STD, but it could also just be fluctuating hormone levels. My guess would be some kind of infection, but please note this does not mean an STD. Bacterial vaginal infectiosn are quite common and some women are just more susceptible to them for various reasons. The thing is if you let it go too long it can get serious.

I'm not sure whether to tell you to move up your appointment or not, but it might be worth a call. Things like this are abnormal, and the sooner they get treated, the easier they are to treat.

I am thinking that I most likely have a bacterial infection, mainly because I had one this time last year and I've had a slight suspicion that I might be getting one. On top of that I've been under considerable stress. Not to mention suffering through allergies and I haven't been drinking enough water.

All things that could be contributing to this. Just the idea of it possibly being something more serious scares me a little, but I suppose that just my inner hypochondriac speaking.

Thanks for all the advice.

hey, if your doc says its some sort of bacterial inf, make sure youfind out if its something that he can carry also.. infections can be carried by the man, and he might nto have any side effects at all, but! it would infect you again. just something to think about...

even the regular old yeast infection that women get, can be reinfected by intercourse.. kinda sucks..

Do see your OBGYN. It is important. Yes it can be several different things as mentioned in previous posts. If it is bacterial be sure to stay off all sodas especially diet sodas. Increase your water consumption as well. You may want to get on a good ProBiotic which will add the good bacteria back into your system and will prevent any future infections. But stay off the sugars.

If he was stimulating you a little too rough, yes it can cause spotting or bleeding. Did you happen to use a vibrator or large dong? That can cause it as well. Sometimes a woman can have an allergic reaction to the vibrator or dong material. Some woman break out by using the jelly dongs. Or others have had a problem with too much stimulation caused by constant rubbing in one area or using a vibrator too long.

If it is bacterial, usually a woman will notice later in the day...sometimes a bladder infection. This can also be caused by too much stimulation in one spot or even oral sex when the partners mouth is not clean.

Just food for thought. Good luck, but do see your OBGYN. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
