Depends, Cop. I've known some of the Blazers personally over the years. Many are very nice people. I have nothing but good to say about Clyde Drexler, Duckworth and some of the the others. Many of them are very giving individuals who support youth programs and such on their own. They have been an asset to Portland sence the days of Lional Hollands and Maurice Lucas - that's almost 30 years.

Unfortunately some of the new players are of a different mold. And now we have the LA star on trial. (We hate the Lakers anyway.)

I think a lot of the more established players do seem to give back to the community they play in. But you have to have roots in a place before you will, and many players are transfered over and over again.

Very funny story about Charles Bronson. When Charles Bronson first returned to Hollywood from Europe he and Tony Randell were room mates. Tony Randell and Jack Klugman were doing the first year of the "Odd Couple" on television at the time.
