Shemales and ladyboys aren't usually the same thing as crossdressers, though - more like trans women, but trans women who are okay with being objectified, starring in porn, etc. Still, there's gotta be forums out there!

And you are NOT the only one, I like drag kings too!

Yeah, but the site has a section for MTFs as well as just crossdressers. Oh yes, and a section for FTMs. It'd be a better place to start than here!

Drag kings ARE hot! Well, so are butch lesbians, but y'know, it's the principle of the thing. Girly looking (whether intentionally or not) gay men are not the same as drag queens either. :D

yeah, but that site is set up for queers.

This is a Heterocentric site.

It just is. We've managed a bit of infiltration, but the owners are het, the readership is overwhelmingly het.

FTM's are almost unheard of in this milieu, for instance, and the notion that most MTF's simply want to live happy picket-fence lives is unthought of.

This post is gold. I'm quoting you in case you go away sometime. Somebody else did that, and she's back now, but she deleted all her old posts before leaving, and we lost some good stuff. I don't want to lose this.

I know, it's really tragic. I made a few MTF friends over on Fetlife and they were all perfectly normal, non-fetish fuel women who discussed nerdy stuff like books and video games with relish. If someone says "I'm a woman, please call me by feminine pronouns", that's good enough for me. I'll treat you like any other friend I have.

I respect people's gender dysphoria... but drag IS hot, when people are doing it because they think it's fun and they want to go over the top with gender stereotypes. That's what I mean when I refer to drag versus just being butch... the mega over the topness of it all. I'm not going to post threads about this in the GLBT board, though. It's a fetish and it belongs in a fetish board. People who are truly experiencing gender dysphoria really don't need to be fetishized. If they want to be, that's a different story entirely.

It's true, it's a het site. But frankly, that's just because most people out there are het. We can't help that.

I think Stella would have a lot of posts to delete in order to go away some time. o______o (Man, I hate when people do that, though. I read a lot more than I post and it's like some of the discussion is GONE.)

I personally, am very much appreciative of folks of any ilk sharing their experiences.......I'd rather associate on a site like this which is NOT geared toward a specific group.....that would pigeonhole me. I've learned & grown a lot from folks who face all sorts of different challenges. Methinks the assortment of "freak flags" flown on the forthcoming fetish forum is going to be refreshing.....educational at least; maybe a helluva lot of fun for those of us in B.F.E. who've not seen/ done it all;)

Deleting nearly thirty thousand posts?!?!?! Ohhhh, ghawd no!

I had a funny experince on fetlife a few weeks back; I got a message from an mtf saying that she wanted to give me advice on my trans issues and that I shouldn't take testosterone without a doctors supervision and I should do my homework and anytime I wanted to talk...

I answered her saying she shouldn't assume so much, and... kinda... go to hell. I felt a little bit bad about that, but yanno? She gave me zero introduction, I wasn't asking for advice.

In my experience? And I totally want to say this isn't universal? But transwomen? They do retain some awfully male thought processes. There are times when I just have to wonder why I ever wanted to be male.

That is interesting, that she just took it upon herself to tell you that. Although I wonder if it isn't an example of being socially-impaired rather than just typically male assumptions of dominance. I have a friend with Asperger's who might do something like that. I think he's learned to be more aware of social expectations over time - I've only known him about 3 years - but if he did blurt out unsolicited advice like that, it would be because he's kinda dippy that way, not because he's male.

While never commenting once during the two years it would take you to delete them! :p

As to why you would would want to be a male??? = You'd never lose your dildo??? :nana:

My latest PM from Laurel was on 2/25 and she said yes. Just waiting for Manu to make it happen. No, I don't know why it isn't an easy, automatic thing - just going by what Laurel tells me.

Just want to take this opportunity to say "Thank You", Etoile, for all of your hard work (both on getting the Fetish Forum AND here in this one). You rock. :rose: :rose: :rose:

Please also let Laurel know that we think KittyMama rocks too! :D
