Xcom (OOC)

"I've grown up in xcom, and those aren't standard stims. Regular stims are bad enough, but there isn't anything we can do about it now."
Just as a quick note my intention is that the stims Bones uses during missions would be the regular kind issued through approved channels, it's only when she's off-duty that she uses the 'doctored' stims for recreational purposes.

She may be a drug addict, but she's also a dedicated soldier and knows how foolish it would be to endanger her team just to get high.

As a side note, you really shouldn't try threatening your only medic just before going into a hostile situation when you just might need her help later on. It might be convenient for her if you took an enemy bullet while she was 'busy looking after civilians' and unable to render medical assistance, if you get what I mean.

"Alright Captain. I'll be moving first, you're going to watch my back. Once we enter the facility, we're going to check the rooms until we've cleared the facility and rescued every civilian."
Not to second guess Temple's command decisions, but isn't Bones the one with the stealth armour? It might be better if she sneaks out first while you cover her.

I know I said Nick had tactical training, but I don't lol. I'm an idiot, and I didn't even think of the stealth suit lol. Also Nick wasn't threatening Bones. Well maybe he was a little bit, but it was more like a warning than a threat. I'll also edit the part about her stims if you'd like me to. My tag may say I'm a guru, but I'm still an idiotic noob lol.

It does seem a bit far-fetched that a tactical officer would be able to distinguish between two different forms of medication just from such a brief examination of them. How do you tell two transparent liquids with a slight green tint apart from just a visual examination? :p

On another side note, would the medpack Bones is carrying include a lifesigns detector as part of its diagnosis suite? If so, that might make the job of finding anyone in the buildings a lot faster. It'd be close range only though, so she'd still have to enter a room to get a clear reading, but at least they can sweep each room a lot quicker.

Well I figured Bones's custom stim would have a different injector than the normal one, so that's what I was thinking. He wasn't looking at the juice, just the applicator, but I guess that doesn't matter since she was just using normal stims. Nick doesn't like stims though, he thinks of them as a crutch that weakens the solider in the long run.

And yes Bones can totally have a scanner. Scan away lol

I'm thinking of joining

You're a little weak on your game knowledge and your time line is off for the game setting....that's fine though if you want to blaze your own path. How much have you played? I'm a veteran of most of the games including the current, and I will be playing X2 in the near future.

Perhaps my most favorite bit of game art....

I didn't even know that I was included o_O

So excuse the rusty post, it will take a bit for me to catch my stride

I've played all of the main games, including Enforcer, as well as fan-made remakes, the Dreamland Chronicles and the Czech UFO remake series. You could say I know a little something about the world we're in, although some of my knowledge may be beyond the scope of the story (Reticulan bioarmour, Blight infestations, human mutations and bioconstructs, molecular control, androids, etc.)

At the moment I'm planning to have Bones get herself augmented at the first opportunity, giving herself some hybrid genetic advantages to help out on the battlefield. That and I really want her to get mind controlled and raped by some of the aliens before the rest of you guys move in and save her (but not before taking some saucy pictures of her ravaged body to post up on the barracks bulletin board.)

Any chance there may be some hyperworms crawling about the place? I can see a couple of places they might crawl into to make Bones's life a little more interesting. :3

There could be sandworms like the ones in Dune II.
Bones may be a little experienced, but her pussy isn't that big!

Patrick was happy to see Bones and pleased to have saved the Major from a certain death.

"Captain, I feel great and I am no longer a rookie. You did a great job when you killed the Sectoids but one ran away to its ship and left. We should save the citizens and leave this place quickly before they come back with a larger army or use heavy weapons."
Sorry for the confusion but it's Ironside not Bones who's moved to cover your position.

Captain Bones is busy with Major Temple looking for survivors in her magical mystery bunker to the north of the city (near the docks), the naked quadriplegic MEC trooper in her giant vibrating metal suit is the one covering your back to the south-east and the rest of the squad are in the centre of the city forming a fire point to hold back the alien hordes.

I'm just going to leave these here, no need for anyone to look at them and think about what could possibly happen to Bones or anything like that.
1, 2 and 3.
And 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

I'm really curious about what those are lol. I couldn't see them (it may be because I'm on an iPod).

Second favorite pic now...thanks just saved it. I'll come up with a concept soon.
There's a larger version of it available here. I scaled it down to fit on the site and so you can't make out some of the great detailing seen on the original.

I hope I'm not giving anyone the mistaken impression that Bones is a whore or anything like that. I mean, she's never charged anyone for sex in her life.

Xcom

It must be enjoyable to have a girlfriend that says yes to everything and does it with all her joy.

"...I don't want to lose you when your unprotected pretty body gets damaged by a direct hit."
Not sure what you meant by 'unprotected', Ironside's currently sealed inside a walking tank with better protection than most buildings. :)
