Well, I'd say this thread falls in a gray area - it does have a relationship to orp in that it offers the sort of avatars that gamers frequently want (and that many are not sure where to look for), but if we follow the letter of the law, then technically I think this thread would have to be moved to the ?how to' forum. Unfortunately, the a lot of rp'ers might not even realize it existed. I assume it was a judgement call on the part of the moderators, that this thread served a useful enough purpose (that couldn't be served by any other existing thread) to warrant being allowed to stay. Public displays of affection, although lots of fun, can't really be claimed to have any particular relationship to orp'ing, nor can it be argued that they couldn't have taken place on any other thread (since they do, in fact, take place on other threads all the time). That's my guess anyway, you'd have to ask poohlive or one of the other moderators to get the exact reason.

As far as we are talking how to and AV's, how do you post a pic in the body of a post? I have looked at the help section, but what of the pic is on my hard drive not on a website? I'm seriously scared to link to stuff after the Sateema incident.

You can only put a pic in the body of the post if it's linked to another site. Anything you post from your own hard drive must be posted as an attachment.
