Yea.... did I read somewhere that you not only have a child of your own, but a child from your SO's former relationship as well? Two young ones to care for? Wow is all I can say. I only had one child and she was enough to keep me busy, between working and all.

Yea.... did I read somewhere that you not only have a child of your own, but a child from your SO's former relationship as well? Two young ones to care for? Wow is all I can say. I only had one child and she was enough to keep me busy, between working and all.

My own is now 17 months old.....but my step-daughter if you like is 7 years old and quite helpful too, so it isn't that bad up to now......with my partner recently being on holiday for her settling in made it better too....problem really is...she is Dutch and we still have a slight language problem....

Oh dear.. that could pose a problem, but the up side is she's young enough to be able to learn the language.
I'm sure she's very helpful with you 17 month old. Kids that age like to be of help. I remember my own daughter always looking after the younger children beginning around that age. My friends loved it because she helped to keep their kids entertained.
Sienna, I think I'm going to follow EL's lead and sign off too. I must report to the salt mines at 4 in the morning and with it being a Monday, its going to be a busy day.
