David (and Leigh) Eddings

While most of his books have a very similar plotline, I just love his characters.
 
V.C. Andrews remains one of the few authors who can actually hold my attention. (Blush).

I'm pleased to see that her memory lives on through the numerous others who have continued with the series since her departure. I think they have done a fairly decent job thus far.

I have also been known to indulge in the occasional Hunter Thompson 'account'.

Due to my short attention SPAM, reading material is limited. I might just attempt the novel version of Lolita though, mostly so that I can quit renting the movies all the time.
