your humble narrator's first session...

I own 7. :) What can I say, it's a fetish.

Thank you for your sweet comments, the feeling is indeed mutual.

Morrissey was quite the charmer. ;)

it's a lovely fetish, i'd say... they look sexy on you!

we should sit down one day and discuss random
subjects like literature and music while enjoying
some nice chai tea and hors d'eouvres...
i don't know, you seem like the ideal person for
such thing, you're so knowledgeable and kind :)

mmmmmm chai.

Well thank you kind Sir. :: curtsies ::

Indeed, I would love to talk late into the night of music, and books, life and love... a relaxation of sorts, whilst still stimulating parts new to us.

Or perhaps, people watching in a busy cafe... mmmm.
Let's be fashion police for a time. :)

love is such a deep vortex of emotions that
it makes the other subjects seem miniscule.

i can talk about it for endless hours.

watching people is my favourite.
inside the oddity that is my mind,
i often envision what lives people
have by a mere glance at them and
their gestures...
can't say if it's a gift or a bad habit.

isnt "humble narrator" the name used by the guy in Clockwork Orange?

ugh!
and here I've had images and words from the movie going through my head this past week..and I totally missed that!
that's it! I'm watching it again this weekend!
(I'd read it..but I've heard it's tough what with the lingo and slang and what not...same as Trainspotting)

I adore that.

What do you think of mine?
What do I do for work? Relaxation? Pleasure?

Oh, my...it's not everyday that you chance upon a model with both the face AND body to please a girl ;) You're just beautiful. I love the angles, and, well...everything about your pictures. Especially the subject. I love exotic-looking men...you certainly fit the bill. More, more! I don't really have any suggestions, though...just do what you do best.

! I almost forgot....i adore your hands. They're beautiful (that word again...but it's just as true as it was the last time i used it! ).

the lingo that they use is genius!
i'm a big fan of the imagery of the film also, kubrick is tops :)

love,

aye...I love listening to the lingo...I fear though that I'd have quite the time trying to read it *sighs*

I think Clockwork is one of his best works (people are going to probably crucify me for that and say what about 2001?? aye..it's fab for the time it was made..but I'm sorry..that movie puts me to sleep  )
just the image of starting out on his mascara and black eyeliner eye and slowly pulling out to show the smirk on his face and then his buddies and the milk bar....just a wonderful imagery, to be sure.
and I love how Rob Zombie is such a big fan that he copied that and other scenes for his Never Gonna Stop video :)

anyway...
:kiss:es to you dear

Clockwork is indeed my favourite of Kubrick... but it's a close call
between it and Lolita, which is also a great film... Eyes Wide Shut
was also interesting... Rob Zombie did a fantastic job in that vid,
Blur did the same for "the universal"... i think anything based or
inspired in that film is bound to be entertaining :)

lovely kisses for you, darling ember.

I was a bit disappointed with EWS. It was made such a big deal about...saying it was pornographic..and well, maybe that was extremely pornographic to Kubrick...but I was yawning *smirk*
I just don't like when people make such a big deal about a movie, and then I watch it..and I'm thinking, "ok..what's the big deal?"
ah well :p

thank you dear :)
think I best get my butt in gear now and get things done *sighs*
*kisses and hugs back*
until later...

If I may interject...

I found Eyes Wide Shut quite confronting at times.
It was a movie that subtly struck at the core of you and your morals/beliefs.

Sorry, do go on...

it goes with out saying that your life is one filled with
wandering imagination and an unquenching thirst for beauty,
regardless of the source... relaxation and pleasure to you
come in a similar package, simplistic yet sensually elegant
to suit your artistically refined taste.
you possess a talent with words, and naturally that talent
is considered genius, in which case -it- possesses -you-.
work... i can't find a dayjob suitable for your uncontainable
ways of expressing yourself... you're a writer to me.

aye...I can see that

I think it's just one of those things where a movie gets talked about so much like it's the greatest thing ever..and then I watch it, and my opinion is less than half of that. Know what I mean?
and then I'm just left disappointed.

Like the mansion part...I had read things, heard things...about it. "it shows so much..it's pornograhpic"....it really doesn't show anything. It's all left to your imagination. Same thing with Texas Chainsaw Massacre...people say it's one of the goriest movies..and if you watch things with the director talking about it, he states it really isn't. They never actually show you what's being done. It's all sounds and shadows and the rest is left up to your imagination.

*sighs*
I'm rambling

but yes...I can see what your saying Sylvia..and in that regard, yes...it is a good movie. It's just not one of my favorite Kubricks...Clockwork will always hold top spot for me in that regard. :)

Wow.......Just saw you posted on our thread.......followed your link......and am very Impressed.

Will be looking!!

Indeed, my imagination does wander, but never far from it's source... as I endeavour to bring things close to me and make my imagination reality.
Relaxation and pleasure, you are right, I do like the simplest of things to bring me joy. I read, I listen to music, I walk, I take photographs... I watch people. I like classic things - whether it be clothes, or items for my home. I only ever wear black, with a splash of red on rare occasions. I wear quirky items of jewellery, but never anything flashy. A handmade silver cuff, a vintage necklace...
:: laughs :: My writing talent is by no means anywhere near the class of genius. I do however, adore it.

You know what?

You're right, I am a writer.
