your humble narrator's first session...

yes he is...for different reasons:)

well, if you want more Rice, you should of course start with Interview With the Vampire and then Vampire Lestat (although..I didn't even read these...I pretty much went right into Queen of the Damned..which the movie BUTCHERED *evil, disgusted face*)
Queen is a really good read...gets to the heart of the matter..how they all came to be in the first place.

I enjoyed The Vampire Armand as well
and for other Rice stories...I really enjoyed her Mayfair Witch books. Looking forward to reading Merrik which combines both the Mayfair and the vampires.

:kiss:es luv

i have seen many films based on books that butcher
the story as they adapt it to the screen format... it's sad.
i heard Vampire Armand is very intense, so i might give
that one a read.

I think you'd like Armand...I enjoyed it...and Armand is an interesting character (as is his story) :)

and yes..I know...I always get pissed when I read a book and then watch the movie version.....but Q.o.t.D was REALLY bad. I was screaming and cussing at the movie the whole time. *shakes head*

good morning :)
care to join me for a cup of chai?
...do you like it with sugar, honey or milk?

I always enjoy a bit of honey with mine.

:rose:

-a-
Why thank you my love.
I too enjoy that little organic sweetness of honey.

What shall we converse upon today?
You choose a topic, and we can wax lyrical....

Oh, don't you want to find? Can't you hear this beauty in life?
The times, the highs, breaking up your mind Can't you hear this beauty in life?

i remember same thing happened with me and "great expectations"
by charles dickens, the book was so beautiful, and the movie,
well, aside from having two hotties (ethan hawke + gwyneth paltrow)
was a major letdown... for me anyway.

it's been so long since I read that...9th grade I believe...I'm 31, you do the math:p

hmm...I think the only thing I liked about that movie was the song that Tori Amos did for it..hehehe

Ethan doesn't do it for me
Adrian Paul does...oh gods...especially as Duncan MacLeod *sighs*

uh-hmm..sorry

love the verve! and ashcroft solo is also amazing.

the sweetest perfection, to call my own
the slightest correction, couldn’t finely hone
the sweetest infection, of body and mind
the sweetest injection, of any kind...

ahhh....Adrian Paul is more than quite handsom!!
he is one of the only actors that I have fantasies about and drool over when I see him. But it's also him in Highlander...the looks, the accent, the sword...grrrrowwlllll!!! :D

and I agree with you and Sylvia...Urban Hymns is an awesome album
love Lucky Man...
"Happiness
Something in my own place
I'm standing naked
Smiling, I feel no disgrace
With who I am

Happiness
Coming and going
I watch you look at me
Watch my fever growing
I know just who I am

But how many corners do I have to turn?
How many times do I have to learn
All the love I have is in my mind?"

i was talking to him on the phone a while ago,
we discussed art and sex, ironically... the latter
being quite the most enjoyable phone conversation
i've had in a long while.

let us now talk sexy art and artsy sex :)
do you like the works of Gustav Klimt?
he captures and portrays the female body
in a rather breathtaking manner.
