This next series is from the 1920s, over a period of time - photos taken by a photographer known only as Monsieur X. Very mysterious. But these are photos taken within a Brothel. You will see one of the main lobbies, as well as a dedicated room for Prince Edward VII when he used to visit the Brothel, The Chabanais.

Not sure when this was taken? I suspect, given the style, and the backdrop, quite stylised, we're looking at the mid 1920s. It's only in the 1930s that photographers began to depict scenes in everyday places, instead of specialised studios.
