a musical question

i've heard of Kittie. interesting material. i have an mp3 or two of theirs. :) not a bit metal fan, but it's kinda cool.

mulatto... i'd never thought of myself that way, but i s'pose you're right :)

religious beliefs? i'm actually agnostic. my mother was raised protestant (not exactly usual, i know) and is fairly religious, though we didn't go to church much. i *think* my dad's either an atheist or an agnostic, i'm not really sure. if he *does* believe in god, he doesn't have much faith in organized religion... but we didn't talk about it much.

mulatto, eh? eeeenteresting (no, no offence was taken :))

Justin dont be such a baby...it wasnt that hard

:p

Ok, am I the only one in this BB that likes good ole' down home country music. Don't get me wrong, I do like many other kinds of music as well. (rock, pop, hip-hop, even some rap) But damn it give me some country music and we will be do the Texas two step all night long.

"Stroke it to the east, Stroke it to the west, if my stuff ain't tight enough you can stroke it my ass."

So I'm not the only one who likes metal!

I like mostly hard rock/heavy metal. The bands I like best are: Metallica (the old stuff is the best), Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rage Against The Machine, Gravity Kills, Dream Theater, Pantera, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden, Godsmack, Prong, Guns n' Roses, Monster Magnet and AC/DC.

I also have a special fondness for 80's music.

You are so tender assed...geeze, Justin... Besides you kept asking for more. <oops I promised not to tell, oh well>

Thumper ain't been bad but might still like a thumpin from Siren! hehehehe

justin, curious if there was a BDSM reason behind you not capping your name? Oh, well. On to the question.

I listen to damned near any kind of music, as long as it's not country. My favorites include but are not limited to Billy Joel, James Taylor, Sting, Metallica, Will Smith, Hezekiah Walker and Radical For Christ, Skillet, Virtue, Leonard Cohen, and a few more who escape me at the moment.

Damn bodyguards!

ANYway.. I also write lyrics. More than I used to, thanks to my musical partner-in-crime, Angelique's hubby to be, Xander. He asked about composing for some of my poems.. I told him I actually had lyrics if he wanted to read them.. And he liked. I've got the MP3 of the inaugural Endlessly\Xander collaboration from a couple months ago if anyone wants it. :)

really? cool :) i'd like to hear it.

no, there's no real ulterior motive for the lack of caps. i'm not sure why i don't use 'em - it's just force of habit, i guess. :)

*chuckle* It's on the angsty side, I wrote it when I was thirteen, but Xander made it a great song. Our next project is something for his wedding.. *pokes Xander*

I'll try to upload it somewhere so I can post the URL.

trust me when i say there's nothing wrong with a little angst. remember that my current vogue is with A Perfect Circle... :)

My music tastes tend to vary according to my moods, one moment I'll pop in the Cocteau Twins and the next I'm playing Joe Satriani.

Most of the albums I have in my collection are by singer-songwriters, John Hiatt, Mike Ness, Buffet, Melissa Etheridge. But a lot of them are classical, Operettas, I just got a really good import of Maria Callas at the London Opera House.

I also like a lot of the new alt stuff, Tool, Pitchshifter, Biohazard, Fear Factory is really good for a workout.

One guy I have been listening a lot to lately is this guy named Voltaire, he took a whole slew of old gypsy and Rumanian folk tunes and twisted them around. It takes a while to get used to but it's pretty good. He has samples on line at http://www.projekt.com.
