I could have just as easily said in the WORD's name or a host of others.

What puzzles me is WHY do YOU care at all?

I asked a guy here long time ago why he was afraid of knowing ANYTHING about GOD?

His answer floored me.

He said that he was afraid to find out about God because, IF God was real than he would have to change his whole lifestyle up...stop getting drunk, high, lying and stealing and cheating and stuff and he was having too much fun doing it.

WOW!

I didn't even try to explain how that works ...talk about dedicated!

I sometimes wonder if God ever got his attention by reaching out and touching him. Nothing like a wake-up call from the Almighty to get your attention!

It's all just strange stories until he takes an interest in you....

I pray for him and so do millions of other people...no matter who or what they pray to.

I have had people pray for me like that as well as them using Holy Oil to make a cross on my forehead. (I thought it was a bit much for a common cold but they were kind of scary so I didn't argue! )

- I'm not seeing this beyond whacko US white Christians - you own it totally - and you are so damned nervous about it you go into this freak show public display to outdo each other. On observation I have never witnessed a group so untrusting of one another. "I'm a better Christian than you because I can write prayers extolling my virtues on a erotica/porn website". Which is basically as bizarre as whippin' out ya old fella to slap on the plate at collection time.

I think you listen to the voices inside your head too much.

Having seen and experienced the direct affect of prayer in the short and long term and believing that indeed people in "High Places" like our leaders, NEED all the help they can get and we are encouraged to pray for them.

As for the rest of it.

The SUN LOOKS like ir comes up and goes down everyday and indeed it is much spoken of in that way but that is not the truth it just looks that way to people that don't know or think about it much.

But let us cut to the chase. You don't like the way I do things especially pertaining to GOD.

When God sends an angel down here to save Your ass from getting killed.

When the Holy Spirit manifest itself to the point YOU have to fight your car from turning into a Church parking lot before you give in THE THIRD TIME to the call to get Baptized.


When God uses YOU for prophecy to tell of future events of tragedy,death and survival and hope and they happen.

When you pray for the same thing more or less three times in twenty minutes and they happen and you hear laughter on the wind because of your astonishment.

and a host of other things.

Get back to me and I might give some thought to ...whatever the heck you think you are doing.

Because I am mystified about how you think you have the right to tell me anything about how to pray or interact with GOD...or him me.

GOD has NO problem making his displeasure known.
