Do you have a body (your own body) thing that irks you? Not how your body looks. More like something that bugs your body. Itchy socks? Hangnails?

For example, I get really grossed out when anything sticky or wet runs from my hands down my wrists. Or if I'm wearing mittens and snow melts in to that space between end of mitten and cuff of coat. Weird, I know.

Hot breath on my face and ears. Having my face covered. I thought this mask business would force me to get used to both of those things but nope, not so far anyway. I can't stand the moisture and having my face covered makes me panic.

I also don't like those things you mention, so not so weird! Snow getting inside your shoe is bad, too. How it melts on your ankle and trickles down into your shoe and gets your socks or pantyhose wet... Gross.

So interesting, snow seems so... magical? But then I’m reminded of how it’s not fun, fluffy clouds and it melts and makes things wet. (Yes, I know it’s ice but I’ve never been in snow snow, just flurries that melt immediately.) I would like to one day throw a snowball. Or build a snow man.

I’d probably freeze to death. (T_T)

You'd just have to really bundle up, you'd be okay. :)

Unlike me visiting you - is burst into flames immediately.

I notice you fix mostly fish or vegetarian meals. Is that cultural influence?

In the US, most meals are meat-centric and obviously oversized. It's hard to break away from years of conditioning.

Fish is a staple here for sure. I think I eat more fish and less meat than average here, and that's likely because of what I grew up eating in my family rather than a representation of the food culture in general. My mom doesn't like red meat, so we didn't eat a lot of red meat when I grew up except for game meat.

Cooking more vegetarian was a conscious choice at some point, but now it's become the norm and I rarely actively make the decision to eat vegetarian anymore. It just happens automatically.

When I cook meat, it's usually chicken. I do eat everything, though.

What sorts of foods did you grow up eating?

I grew up in an era where Mom was only taught to fry foods. Fried pork chops was always my brother's choice for his birthday meal but we had plenty of pork besides. I always wanted chicken fried steak for my birthday. (Hard to find a decent one in FL!) I lived in cattle country so cheap cuts of steak, beef pot roast at least twice a month, a lot of hamburger in every way imaginable, and fried chicken with all the trimmings on Sundays. We also had a VERY large garden each summer so plenty of fresh and canned vegetables were available.
My dad didn't think it was a meal if it didn't include fried potatoes and some kind of meat.

That's interesting. I've never had chicken fried steak. Or fried chicken of any other kind. Maybe I'll give it a go some time.

What's something you enjoy doing for a lover/partner that isn't sexual? (e.g. I love cooking for people, and especially lovers)

Have you seen this site? Very Finnish Problems

Wondering if you find this image (found on site) funny?

I've seen a similar thing on tumblr back in the day, but never seen the insta account before

That particular pic, meh. I don't think I'm the best audience for that type of a joke in the first place. Some of those things I'd say are a little funny and true (the one about a Moomin being a pink hippo ), some work because I'm personally wired that wat but I wouldn't say it's a particularly Finnish thing (the phone call one), but most I'd say play on stereotypes that are exaggerated for the outside viewers rather than really reflect things I see and experience here. Like the coffee, snow and sauna things, or hugging being awful.

The hockey one is sadly true for the large population. I hate it. It's pretty common to hear people say things like it's not important to win as long as we beat Sweden.

I'd say chores in general. Cleaning, laundry, getting groceries, also cooking. But that often is kinda sexual to me.

Which concrete YouTube channels / persons do you enjoy?

I don't follow any channels or people. It's very rare I watch anything at all on YouTube, but if I do, it's usually to find a song that's stuck in my head or if I need help doing something. Like a while back I fixed the coffee grinder and watched a video on YouTube to figure out how to remove a part. The video didn't help, though.

When I was learning Korean, I watched some videos related to that, but I don't remember which channel it was.

Oh, I did specifically go check out the Trump/Biden Epic Rap Battle of History before the election day.

I love reading the questions and your responses.

Aww thanks. I feel like I way overshare though. I should learn how to answer shortly when it's applicable and not invent my own question to go with the question that was asked. :D

I agree with ultramarineblue. You're always so interesting and engaging, seela!

Seriously though - when are you going to nut? I feel like you're on some kind of ... quest now. An unholy quest!

Some time in December. It's still No Nut November.

I don't know how to not over share. I love seeing your thought process in your answers and it's always interesting to me how that can lead to new questions.

Will a Christmas tree be going up in your home this year? If yes, do you have any particular decorating proclivities?

It's been a tradition for me to decorate the tree at my parents house, but I don't think I'll be going there anymore this year, so no trimming the tree for me. Our style of decorating is a lot less blingy here than in most countries.

I don't decorate at home at all. I've never understood the point of doing that... Why bother, when you have to take it all down a few weeks later. I've never had a tree, I don't own any Christmas decorations either. I have one string of plain white Christmas lights (although here we call them winter lights) that I've sometimes put up, but not this year.

Alright. I've got to ask. I want to ask. I'm going to ask.

Apologies if this has been asked many times before. I'm a slow reader!

Why are you pursuing the no-orgasm journey?

I mean that in the most curious and open-minded of ways. I want to understand your experience.

It's not really a journey, at least not anymore. For clarity, I'm only doing No Nut November now, so it's not any crazy long stint this time around.

I really enjoy the feeling that comes from actively not having an orgasm. Actively here meaning that I want one but don't have one. I become softer, more open, less bothered by little things. My mind escapes to sexy bliss every time there's a chance. Even tiniest stimulation feels amazing, like sitting on a tram when it goes through an intersection with lots of tracks going every which way. The clonkity-clonk makes the tram seat vibrate a little and that makes me tremble.

I love it how my hands wander and I squeeze my thighs together when I don't notice, how I actually feel sexy (it never, ever happens otherwise), and how I become so very pliable and willing to go an extra mile. It can all be extremely intimate, as long as the big letter person is so inclined.

Not knowing when the release comes, if it will be a full orgasm or a ruined one, possibly getting the chance to earn it... It's so good. And after I've had an orgasm, I always end up wondering if I could have gone on longer without and if it would have made a difference in the experience.

I'm now doing this solo and as the name of the challenge, or whatever you'd like to call that, is No Nut November, I obviously know when I'll finish and I get to decide everything by myself. It's a little different from my previous experiences, but I've managed to reach some of the positive aspects doing this alone, too.
