Yes I do. It started as a side-effect of a particularly nasty medication I was on. I'm off the med, but the insomnia remains from time to time.; Its was especially bad when / if I had to get up in the night. Often I'd wake at 2am and be unable to get back to sleep.

A friend suggested melatonin. I can't take it due to interaction with the meds I'm still on (my Doctor confirms this).

Fast forward through some research and "free advise" to: I take 5 or 10mg CBD gel capsules at bedtime. I sleep like a rock for 5-6 hours. I buy them through the Government run Ontario Cannabis Store (they are the only retailer who can do mail order in Ontario; I have to present ID at the Post Office). I have not smoked the electric lettuce since my University days, but I have three pre-rolled Government joints (20% CBD, ~0% THC) if things get really bad.

Or, for my birthday. Hey; it's still weed.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Wayne. I think the only way I'd want to be invisible is if I was able to watch good stuff. I definitely don't want to hear a conversation about me. I would absolutely love to be able to teleport. Flying is just frustrating no matter what. Long lines, uncomfortable seats. I'm not tall but my legs are never comfortable.

I am going to think about this a bit. I'll answer later.

The transition to legal weed here went fairly well, but I understand the government store ran out of the entire supply in days. It was like 600Tons. That's a lot of grass.

I do notice jewelry. Shiny stuff I guess. More so since my daughter started making jewelry.

But a word to the women here. I don't make a habit of staring at women. I usually take a look and get on with my life. I don't think that is offensive. You dress attractively. BUT: If you have a long dangly pendant hanging between your breasts I may take a good look because I'm curious. The same goes for that slogan on your t-shirt. I'm reading it lol.

What did you enjoy about being a mechanical engineer?

I think sex in general is still largely a taboo subject in North America. Perhaps someone reading this can speak for other places like Europe.

What do I enjoy about being a Mechanical Engineer: "Sciencing the hell out of stuff" (Yes, I used "Science" as a verb). Or, to put a kink spin on things: I often refer to the process of refining a design as "pencil whipping", harkening back to the days of slide rules and paper drawings.

A mentor once told me an Engineer is a person who can do for a dollar what nay damn fool can do for ten.

Oh, a mini rant: I have worked as an Engineer since the 80s. I have only seen a white on blue "blueprint" two or three times. Now they are almost always black on white.

Its a small business. She focusses on the tourists in the summer. Mostly silver and natural materials, some semi-precious stones.

I was twenty. Yep, I grew up in the age of "free Love" but I was a nerd and painfully shy. Even then it took a blind date and a good amount of cheap wine...

What is something you haven't tried, but you'd like to?

I have had this one before, but there are several things, so one thing I want to do is climb the highest peak in Ontario (Maple "Mountain"; its not that high) then try to climb Mount Katahdin in Maine (end of the Appalachian Trail)

Have you ever camped out or vacationed near or at a hot springs resort?

Not really. But on a canoe trip we came upon a spot in the Marten River that had a natural small whirlpool in a depression in the rocks, In higher water it would have been a hazard. But, after ten days in the backcountry it felt like a real spa.

When was the last time you received a sensual massage?

Its been too long. Heck, I haven't had a therapeutic massage in ages either. Maybe I should drop a hint?

I once saved the Company, by planning an impossible lift. I also once moved the Memorial Stone at the plant from the gate to the new office (about 5 miles) despite not knowing how to pick it up (aside from a crane lol)

Every Engineer has been asked about removing a support beam from a basement. Its dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. I have talked a couple of people out of doing it without talking to a Structural Engineer.

Hehehe. There was a picture on the "Spanking" thread (now gone) of a spanking bench that I have already built as a woodworking sawhorse lol. I'm working on a "secret door" that will look like a bookcase, close in our closet, and hide our adult toys in a false compartment. Pull open the bookcase (by pulling on the right book; I'm thinking Casino Royale) and you get the closet. Open the back of the bookcase and all the fun stuff is there. I'm still working on it.

One of my friends built a secret basement. It's their home cinema and audio room, hidden behind a bookshelf.
