Was the first time you had sex awesome or awkward? Was it like you imagined it would be?

As I think about that I'm kind of embarrassed. I was 20. Yep, raised in the 70s but missed all that free love.

It was awkward at first, I really didn't know anything. As we proceeded from kissing and groping one another through gradual removal of clothes things got easier, more natural. There were a lot of firsts that night. First oral: giving and receiving (I became addicted) I fumbled with the condom ("No glove, no love" was my final instructions from my Dad before I went to University), but managed to get it on. I immediately developed a love/hate relationship with condoms. I disliked the feeling, but appreciated that it slowed me down (premature ejaculation was a huge worry).

It was not quite as I had imagined it. It was better. She talked to me while I was thrusting away. Encouragement, suggestions, demands, and promises of even more pleasure, all with an impressive vocabulary of "dirty talk". (The source of my love of dirty talk no doubt). Nobody told me that curling up together naked would lead to round 2...Also, nobody told me to take the condom off. I assumed there was room in it for a couple of loads She had to explain that (Sex Ed in Canada in the 70s was horrible). Sadly I only had 3...

Did you grow up in a demonstrative home?

I think so. Sort of. Many would not see it that way.

As a Canadian, you may remember PM Harper taking some flack for dropping his 10 or 11 year old son off at school with a handshake. People suggested that showed him to cold and unfeeling. (He was but just ignore that for now). The consensus was that he should have hugged his son. But I understood the gesture.

When I was, 11 or 12 and heading off to camp for the weekend, my Dad drove me to the Scoutmaster's home, where we were gathering for transportation. He opened the trunk and I shouldered my pack. He held out his hand and I took it and we shook. "Well, have a good weekend. I'll see you Sunday." and got in the car with a wave and drove off.

Cold? Unfeeling? No. I still feel his hand sometimes, fifty years later. It was him putting into effect what he had taught me: this is how men greet each other. This is how men say good-bye. Look him in the eye, a firm handshake, a smile and a word or two.

So yes, demonstrative.

An interesting reply. Thank you. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. My Dad would have done the same thing. The only difference is that I usually say that I grew up in a very loving family, but they were not demonstrative. I don't recall ever being hugged as a kid. Of course I must have been at some point, but I can't recall any. But there was never any doubt that I was loved, by both parents, but partiularly my Dad. I was Daddy's little girl and even into my adulthood he wore his heart on his sleeve for me.

It wasn't until I was married, because my husband was a huge hugger, that I learned to appreciate hugs, both giving and receiving. But why I mention this, is that on learning how nice hugs were and how much I liked them, the first time I can recall hugging my Dad, he pulled away....so unaccustomed to it, that was his first reaction. I remember it because it didn't feel good to have my Dad pull away, but more so because he later apologized to me for doing that...and never pulled away again. It's thanks to my ex-husband that generations of my family are now huggers. So much so, that one of my granddaughters couldn't understand why , during Covid, that she could see me aa a 6' distance outside, but wasn't allowed to hug me. Luckily, I'm in her family's social bubble now, so she doesn't have that issue any more.

What are some of your favorite kinky proclivities? (I feel like I didn't use that word correctly)

I would agree: I ever doubted that I was loved. But thatwas about as demonstrative as things got.

What was the kinkiest thing you've ever tried?

I want to thank you for your candid and honest responses. It shows me how earnest you are:rose:

What is something you haven't tried that you'd like to?

This gives me a chance to thank all you friendly perverts. I used to think That my very long list of kinks made me weird. Nope. It just makes me kinky, like everyone else.

And, I think thats the correct use of "proclivities".

My big one aside from self-identifying as Dominant, is restraints, especially rope work. I have studied extensively on line, but that only gets you started really. I'd love to take a live seminar.

I like role playing power exchange (She got a cheerleader outfit and a schoolgirl outfit, and that started the ball rolling. That has intensified the power exchange

I have a bit of a foot / heels fetish.

We are exploring more intense impact play, moving, in baby steps on from hand spankings to flogger. I really got the hang of it fairly quickly. I find it very versitile. I don't see going any further

I love unexpected things, both giving and receiving. My favourite way to give her a new toy is to blindfold her and simply use it.

I think anyone who reads my stories or reads what I write here will know I also like boobs. All of them. That has lead to lots of breast bondage and nipple play.

Sensory Deprivation. Blind folds, ear coverings are a great start.

Ice play. That came from the above^^^

Nudity. I have a lot of body issues, so nudity becomes an issue. The odd thing is it has never been an issue in private. Posting the odd pic in AmPics has been a thrill.

Ravishingly Rubenesque. is a favourite thread Here. But that's not the be all and end all.

How's that for a start?

What was the kinkiest thing you've ever tried?

Hmm. Tough one. I once had sex in the middle of the afternoon in a tent in a packed public campground.

I actually bought a vibrator that I wear to pleasure her. It turns me into a vibrator. It's way hotter than it sounds.

No, knife play. I asked her to buy a specific type of clothing at a thrift store. Long story short, I used a menacing looking and sharp knife to cut everything off. That was fun.
I want to thank you for your candid and honest responses. It shows me how earnest you are:rose:
Thanks to you and everyone else who have asked these questions and given me a chance to tell a bit about myself.
What is something you haven't tried that you'd like to?

I need to think about this and get back to you. I mean, I have a list of celebrities I'd like to have sex with, but that's not a complete or satisfying answer. I mean, some would even require me to build a time machine.

I will answer this later.

If you won a castle, would you want to live in it?

Would anything have to come with the castle??

Just one time I would like to switch, just to see what it is like.

The answer to the first question would depend on the second.

I'd need a moat, with a drawbridge and a menacing portcullis. It would need a dungeon of course. And, it would need a tall keep where I could see the property.

But most of all, it would need secret passages. What good is a castle if you don't have secret passages? I mentioned Casa Loma* in Toronto as an example previously.

So if it had all that, I would certainly live there.

*There are others in North America. As a kid, my grandfather lived on the north shore of the St Lawrence River, and pointed out both Boldt Castle and Singer Castle. [I now realize you can't see Boldt castle from the Canadian side, so there must have been another big house on the River.]

You can tour Boldt Castle from the 1,000 Island Boat Tours out of Gananaque, near Kingston. Or you could when I used to live there.

Any time period where I could have worked as a Blacksmith. Particularly the time of the Norman Conquest (all those swords) and the 19th century. (You didn't ask, but my favourite TV show is "Forged in Fire")

That's really awesome. What would you make or do you make?

What is your next wood working project? What is your next time consuming, wood working project?

When and what was your last adventure? (More than just a trip to the grocery store...lol)

Once covid restrictions are lifted and you feel comfortable, where would you like to travel?

Have you met anyone you didn't make a good impression on or who didn't care for you instantly? You're quite the likeable fellow, and not just because you're Canadian...lol.

Do you prefer camping in a tent or staying in a cabin with a fireplace?

What would you do if you found:

A large sum of money on the street and you knew who it belonged to.

A large sum of money in the street and you didn't know who it belonged to.

Someone losing $100, as it flew out of their pocket or purse. The thing is, that person had the nastiest attitude but only you saw it happen.

Have you taught your GS how to play hockey?

Do you like American football (NFL)?

What other winter sports do you enjoy?

I'd love to do a "Scottish Dirk" (a single edge short dagger knife), or a Khukri (the forward curved weapon of the Ghurkhas) or a Cutlass. But like everyone who appears on that program, what I would love is for Doug Marcada to say "It will kill" after destroying a ballistics dummy.

I have restored a few old damaged rusty knives over the years.

My last big time consuming project was my work bench. After years of a very basic bench, I have a proper bench with lots of weight to it. Two vises, as tool tray. I love it.
Oh, "next". My next project is a very basic cabinet for my workshop. The next "big" one? I have always wanted to build a boat. I was thinking of this one:

Well my last trip to the grocery store was pretty exciting...

My last real adventure was a two week canoe trip in Temagami (NE Ontario). Big lakes, small lakes, quiet marshes and swamps, white water... it had it all. I'm likely past those days.
Once covid restrictions are lifted and you feel comfortable, where would you like to travel?

I love the Caribbean (I've mentioned that a couple of times). I think Trinidad and Tobago. It's near Barbados but less expensive. There is little agriculture in Barbados apart from sugar cane, so food is expensive (and therefore everything else is expensive except rum).

Yes. Lots. I recall a woman in University where we instantly took a disliking to each other. That lasted for two years, until we ended up as part of the same lab team. We parted if not friends at least with mutual respect.

But I'm not everyone's cup of tea / glass of whisky. I am somewhat loud and boisterous and I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.

Meh.

I'm curious about your new bench. What's its form factor: Roubo, Scandinavian, English, Shaker or? Did you devise your own plans or follow someone else's? Whart lumber species did you use? What kind of vises did you install? Do you use other work-holding items like holdfasts or planing stops?

You used to live in Boldt Castle? LOL. I love that area and I miss it.

LOL No, I used to live in Kingston. Went to Queen's University and married a local. My kids were born there and both went to Queen's even though we moved from Kingston when they were 10 and 11. I agree it's a lovely area. Water, limestone and countryside with more than you have a right to expect in a city that small.

Do you prefer camping in a tent or staying in a cabin with a fireplace?

My adventurous side says "tent"; maybe even just a tarp. My arthritic body says "cabin"

What would you do if you found:

A large sum of money on the street and you knew who it belonged to.

Give it to them without hesitation

A large sum of money in the street and you didn't know who it belonged to.

The last time this happened was just before Christmas. A $50 laying in the parking lot at the Mall. I picked it up and dropped it in the Salvation Army kettle.

Someone losing $100, as it flew out of their pocket or purse. The thing is, that person had the nastiest attitude but only you saw it happen.

I would still return it. "Nasty" may only be my opinion. People likely think I'm nasty because I speak my mind.
