And for dessert: whoopie pies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

I am avoiding alcohol with my diet coke... and trying very very very hard to not kill the printer and the CD drive thingie - both of which deserve horrible horrible deaths right about now.

Skim milk - with the last whoopie pie (though there's a rumor that more are in the planning stage.![]()
Nothing at all today/tonight. Got a case of the bad belly.
Trying to hold very still and not jostle anything.![]()
Hope you feel better today, K!
*hugs*
Grilling some lobster tails for a nice (I hope) lobster roll for dinner tonight. Planning to sip another Albarino since I have been wine-celibate for a week or so.
And Keroin, Happy Birthday! Be good.
And, nice rack!

I am inspired to order fish tacos tonight. Not quite sure if/what I am drinking tonight.
Actually, it just dawned on me how much I miss living on the East Coast and how seafood is such a big part of my summer food memories. Clambakes and crabcakes and crabbing... my mouth waters thinking back...
From a food standpoint, I really don't like living where I live.I'm with you on this!
Although its a great place to live for outdoor exercise 9 months of the year. And our sunsets are breathtaking. Really.

I'm trying to decide if a glass of wine will help me sleep tonight... I've been too nervous the last few nights to get any decent rest at all.
OH, LB, I dream of fish tacos. I miss Baja so much!!
I feel the same about the West Coast. It has been almost two years for me without salmon. I get seafood here, obviously, but there's something about salmon, halibut and fresh dungeoness crab that will always be "summer" for me. Sigh.
I indulged in a few martinis last night but the bad belly returned with a vengeance today. Fark. I'm back on water and bread. Oh well, I had David Sedaris to keep me laughing between bouts of sleep.
The fish taco was delish. So was the cactus taco (that was a first for me)!
I read Sedaris' When You are Engulfed in Flames recently. It was pretty funny.
I hope the bad belly goes away quickly. No fun.

Thanks LB, belly has settled again but I'm sticking to prison food to keep it that way.
Can't say I've had a cactus taco, though grilled cactus is quite popular among locals in Baja.
Engulfed in Flames is the one I just read. Not as laugh-out-loud as some as his others, but still funny.
I haven't decided if I'm having wine now that I'm home, but I just got home from my first honest to goodness date-type-thing [with wine!] in years... it took three reschedules to actually make it to meet for drinks, but that was the funnest conversation I've had in ages and I'm glad we both decided to keep rescheduling.
