Anyone for a nightcap?

WW, I hope that Vigonier is good. I am abstaining tonight.

For me, tonight I am drinking iced tea. Raspberry and Lemon tea mixed together (decaf), with a little unsweetened apple juice mixed in. Mighty tasty. And goes well with the book I'm reading. Its a murder/mystery, out of of my norm, reading-wise, but requires sobriety to keep the characters straight. And there are beaucoup characters in this novel...

Sorry I missed this last night. Yes it was good thanks. One more glass for tonight.

mmm that sounds yummy. I think the last mystery I read were those by Dan Brown - Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons - a few years ago.

Keroin - hope the weather changes SOON.

'Fraid not. Still windy, still stormy, still watching that ship on the horizon, still listening to my rumbling tummy. Sigh.

Oh well, I did get an early B-day gift in the mail, from a friend, three bars of Swiss dark chocolate! The folks at the post office must think I'm off my nut the way I start giggling when I get food in the mail.

Trying to ration the chocolate.

Looking for some Big Yellow Cab to go with tonight's pizza.

I looked for that at the local liquor store the other day and found there were about 5 bottles in the whole province and none in my city. :(

At our firm's charity golf day today, as part of the cocktails, we had a wine tasting. Had to try 'Meglomaniac' :D

Iced tea... I'd like a glass of wine, but recognize I've eaten far too little and worked out too much today for that to be anything close to a good idea. LOL

LOL! Was it any good?

Actually, I keep seeing "3 Blind Moose" at my local store. I've never tried it but I know Yanks posted drinking it once. I'm just not sure that he raved about it, so I keep walking past.

I am still holding on to no drinking on school-nights. Even if by a finger on some days. I'm trying to exercise in the evenings, rather than my preferred mornings, and it seems to work better without cocktails.

Separation brings on new routines, I suppose.

Although frankly, I really prefer to work out in the morning. But then, I am a morning person (as in wake at 5am morning person).

Tonight's wine: Murphy's Law. It's a Washington state blend and quite tasty.

The Big Red Cab is very, very good. I recommended it to ww based on having had a glass recently and now neither of us can find it where we live. I had it on the road at an eclectic little bistro.

It was a bit sweeter than I prefer but smooth and refreshing, so I'd say yes.

LB he posts here...why not ask him?

I thought you mentioned Big Yellow Cab! Did I check out the wrong wine?

Drinking a glass of Pinot Grigio, listening to the new GreenDay CD, and building a customer database in Excel.

Wheeeeeeee!

You're right - it was Big Yellow Cab. It's put out by the Mendocino Wine Company (google is my friend) and is available by mail order, though I did not check the details of where they can or will ship.

Last night: my first ever Albariño. This was from Don Bardo Winery and it was quite excellent. Went beautifully with the simple grilled mahi mahi and ginger-soy rice, too.

Last night here, was a 2007 California pinot grigio. "Bohemian Highway", had undertones of melon, and a kiss of lemon/lime. YUM!

Now to drive Bohemian Highway,
Tap my bongos down the miles,
Cursing, loving, smelling roses,
Filling life with days of smiles.

Some Catena Malbec from Argentinia left over from Saturday's steaks. Nice and smooth.

evening gypsy.
