Are you a lurker?

I'm much more of a lurker these days. Having a couple of posts very misunderstood and the how mean spirited some people are now has really curtailed my posting.

Yeah, I understand completely. It only takes a time or two...

That's why I post mostly pics

I was told, yesterday, that the folks that hang here are a friendlier lot.

Ya know, I've been thinking about this all day.

I had a dust up on FB about wearing masks. I've been weaning myself off that site because it just sucks my energy. Anyways - it made me think about how complete strangers can get in our heads and make us feel less than. How does that happen? How come I'm not confident in what I post and instead, take the stance, fuck off interweb bully.

It's one thing to have a discussion, even a disagreement. I'm all for civil discourse.

But the name calling and hurtful memes. Why do I let that bug me? I'm not sure but it happens.

Anyways. I hope the BDSM forum feels like a place folks, old and new, feel good about speaking up. Yeah, there've been disagreements. Some pretty strong ones. Geez though. Mind your manners. Talk to me like you're standing in front of me, not behind a keyboard. Speak up. Know your voice is important.

Sorry. Am in a mood. Trying to lay out the welcome mat for the lurkers.

I'm with you on all the above Cookie.

Fuck civil! Let's burn the place down, or at least spank their asses! :caning:

IMHO, spanking would most likely have fixed most of the issues if said spankings would have occurred at regular intervals over the past 20-30 years.
:D:eek::D:eek::D:eek::D

Are you a lurker? Do you spend time reading, perhaps even messaging people but never really post? Or maybe you post a lot in one forum but lurk around in others?

I have to admit I'll read through a thread, which takes me to another thread, which takes me to someone's profile and suddenly an hour's gone by.

Fess up.... do you lurk?

Lately I have been posting way more than before

morning all

A little late but good afternoon!

I lurk because it’s a way to get to know the dynamics of the different forums... there’s so much information and humour here... it’s fun. And a little like a never ending maze

It gets even more fun (usually) when you start posting and interacting. I've met some pretty good people here, and one really truly good friend.

I’m a lurker here in BDSM and a few other places.

Glad you came out to say hi! I recall seeing your AV and your name around.

I’m a bit of a lurker lately.

What's up!? You ok?? Glad to see you here.

I lurk more when there aren't any discussions I want to get involved with.

Feels like there ain't much discussin' at all 'round these parts.

Lit used to be such a great distraction. Now though, life is busier. But also feels itchier. It's not as fun. One of those ebbs and flows? I think it's more me. My brain doesn't have the capacity for pervy talk.
