Arizona! The new thread

And Dee, you were being funny about giving yourself valley fever. Right?

I got a few nosefuls of dirt and afterwards couldn’t stop coughing, I really thought some bits of lung came up, made me dizzy and my head hurt, short of breath and just generally miserable, even though I showered immediately and washed all the yucky stuff off. This lasted for almost three hours. Now my throat is still a bit irritated from the coughing but I slept ok and can breathe just fine, so I’ll probably live. :)
I keep saying I’d really like to live someplace where the soil I walk on or grow my vegetables in doesn’t try to kill me!!

It's good news you're getting over whatever it was. In Arizona, if the cactus doesn't prick you, and the rattlesnake doesn't bite you, there's always the dirt that will kill you. Take care of yourself, Dee.

Ahh but AZ has so much more to offer than shopping in Scottsdale. Check out the nightlife around Mill Ave in Tempe if you’re looking for company, should be easy pickings?
