I had an adventure this week, issues with my right lung and phenomena compounded with breakout of shingles that hit the left side of my face. Uggh

Got released from the hospital last night and slept much better in my own bed.

Well all its the weekend, tough week at work but at least the insanity is on pause for a couple of days. Sad part is I know whats waiting for me on Monday....
Here in the Ole Pueblo it is going to be a bit chilly temps only in the mid 90's, might have top break out a sweatshirt. Not really, it will be nice to have temps below 100 for a couple of days a little respite from the blast furnace. I know its a bit hotter in Phoenix, did some construction work there and once for a week straight we woke up to 100 degrees and by afternoon 115 to 117. That was brutal but we all lived to tell the story.
Hope you all have a good weekend, Bunny I hope you are doing better and Dee I hope you were a little less deprived this week.

Sorry to hear your deprivation is an ongoing situation, anything I can do to help you know how to get a hold of me..

Not in the Catalina's but I can see it very clearly from my house, it is pretty bad but we have had worse, probably would not have gotten so bad but there were two incidents with illegal drones that postponed airborne fire fighting efforts for several hours each time and one of those let the fire get really out of control. The first person was caught but nothing on the second one who caused the biggest delay and allowed the fire to get out of control. There was no ground effort because of how rugged the area is, lots of steep rocky terrain and cliffs.

Stay safe everyone, one day soon it will be safe to go outside again!!

Kind of awesome but no one wants the destruction of habitat much less peoples homes, I have a similar view but at a safe distance.

I was actually on that stretch of road for the first time last week. It’s really, really weird to not go through town as usual but see mostly open road on the way south, but I liked it!
