Artwork and Images - To Catch A Fancy

NOT carravaggio, i misremembered, but a picture once believed to be a rembrandt but now thought to be painted by a follower/student of his:

a man reading at a table in a lofty room - a relatively small painting, oil on oak, and, placed next to all the mighty rembrandt canvases, it was the one that grabbed my attention and refused to let go. unfortunately, the photos do it no justice - the light is wavering, reflecting and rippling as it enters the room through the glass of the rain-drenched window; it captivates entirely. if anyone ever visits the london national art gallery, it was tucked into the first corner to the right as one enters the rembrandt room and is dwarfed by the great canvases.
