To be fair, I only get a minority of PMs with that attitude, but those tossers make it far less likely that other PMs will be welcomed.

The most blatant one recently (after beginning fairly neutrally) degenerated into words to the effect of "you speak/write/understand German - that must be a turn on for you so get cybering with me - now!".

It never ceases to amaze me the way men talk to women, and expect a positive response. I'm certainly no Romeo, but I'm reading through this thread and wondering how in the hell any of these guys thought they had a chance...

The few asshat messages I have received from women were immediately responded to, for the sake of comedic relief....ladies, if it doesn't turn you on for a strange man to ask "Can I stick my hard cock in your butt", the same can be said for "Can I sit on your face while I'm on my period".

That's why I always say it's best to never respond to them. Anything to these people is better than no attention at all, so even if you're yelling and cursing at them and thinking you're slinging some super cool edgy witty zingers at them, you're still validating them. They got a response. That was all they wanted, and you gave it to them. And by giving them what they want, you're just doing your part to ensure that that behavior continues.

I'd also argue that there are probably quite a few of them who have a humiliation fetish, and they send those kinds of messages hoping for an angry, profanity-laced rant loaded with insults related to dick size because they're too cheap or entitled to just call a phone sex line or something. But even if that's not the case, these dudes already know that it's not a good way to approach women (hence why they do it online and not IRL, where they might get the shit kicked out of them). They'd be happy if they did get a positive response, but they know they probably won't and just send it, anyway, because any attention is better than none at all.

That's why I say, no matter how good you are at insulting people, you should just ignore them. You're not teaching them any lessons by wasting your time responding, and you're just giving them what they want...and possibly even jerk-off material, depending on how they're wired. If they want a reaction, don't give it to them, especially not for free.
