For me I don't care to use the word "fat' for myself..I am always saying I am fat and sassy when someone asks how I am..but if someone else says I am fat it really hurts my feelings and makes me feel like a piece of crap.....

I think i've become more comfortable with it. It's not a word I normally use either, yet I do feel sometimes I should just call a spade a spade type thing. Why say 'curves' all the time when it gets to the point that I'm must avoiding saying the word when we all know what it is. lol Just stuff i think about it.

But I do appreciate men that say it and love it. Men have been amazing in my life for helping me overcome so many negatives that I've been lead to believe since a little girl. It was just like the guy here, was it snoopy dog or something that called our fat roles "soft"…and that "soft" in that regard is desired!!! Wooo whoooo!!! I loved hearing that cuz in time it starts to stick with me.

Recently, in the news was a gal that took a pic on Instagram of an attractive thin woman who had birth stretch marks and wore a bikini. Did you all hear it this week? She was so healthy in her decision to post that pic. Although it was for fun and for friends and went viral, she said that her body at this point won't change. Her stretch marks will remain and her body is not going to change at this point. I liked her matter-of-fact approach and those little things influence me.

I have sent nudes of my body to friends and they get hot and excited over it…even with all the rolls and curves..hahah also none as fat. hehe

Go figure. But I sure love that you men do…I just ALWAYS think that it's the "beautiful bodies" our society that you all prefer.

Monday, I have an interview with a possible new coworker for my department. A woman I met briefly Friday, whose curves should come with a sign, "Dangerous Curves Ahead."

If you mean by watching her act, then yes I think I can. Self confident women dont mind wearing clothes that accent her curves or dont mind saying "hot" (offensive to sum) words. Were as a body conscious woman will wear looser clothing or will act more passive when in a group.

This at least has been my experience and I might just be full of it

She's self-confident, does not attempt to hide her body as she walks: her head is high, her back is straight. She does not hunch over, and she does shake her ass.

Well…let's see. I think some of what you are saying is correct and some not. However i'm thinking strictly from my perspective, so yours really is correct. (is this turning into being clear as MUD? lol)

I do not wear clothes that accent my curves. I was taught to dress appropriately and I really don't hide either. I'm a fan of sporty type attired and very tailored. I do not wear low cut tops but i'm tall so the tops of my breasts never look like they will pop out. I also hate wearing skirts or dresses, but will if a friend is taking pics of me in the bedroom. So one might say I hide behind my clothing; I just don't flaunt it. I'm very confident though and i'm very outgoing in a group of people. It helps when you're an old lady, lol, cuz you don't care at this point whether people like me or not. I am myself and usually that works for me. People respond to me in public and although I might judge big people, I do not feel judged in a bad way at all.

One of the things about society in general that bothers me most about us Big n Curvy girls is their acceptance it is fine to mock us openly...i have gotten off an elevator and had grown men openly coment "oh I am not sure I want to get onthere fter her" or the age old and never funny Mooooove over escpecially when there is plenty of room the list goes on and on but the fact if no bystander ever steps up and says something in our defence ...tht is why we are either strong or crushed or a mixxed up combo because we fight our own battles and always have..heck I can tell you of a sad night I actualy was attacked by two guys who when questioned afterwards about hitting a woman said I didnt count I was just a fatty

Having seen your smile in a different thread (insert wolf-whistle here!)(a respectful whistle, mind you!), I can safely say I would step up immediately and not "rescue" you but assist you in a shitty situation you were placed in through no fault of your own. While I'm willing to beat the mouthy offender about the head and shoulders with a cold, dead mackeral, I would be more apt to catch your eye for a silent approval before taking your hand and saying something along the lines of "C'mon Hon, we'll take the next elevator....how was your day beautiful?" And if I got a positive vibe I might even attempt to steal a wee smooch to seal the deal and show the over-vocal assailant how lucky I consider myself having you in my life. Once he is gone I would, of course, release your hand with an apology and an introduction...I hope you would not be offended by such actions. I hate ass-hats and find there are ways to subtly show them the error of their ways without kicking them in the groin with pointy toed shoes and spending the weekend in jail. Would I have met a friend for life? Or would you bid me adieu with a disgusted shake of your head? Either way? I would stand up for you again if I happened to see it occur...and now I'll get off my soapbox and go continue my search....you are beautiful by the way. Really!

I know I've said this before on this thread but, I love a woman with curves. A true BBW, love them. Skinny small figure girls do nothing for me sexually.

You are so right! It is the key. However, that is EASY for you to say hon. I never once had a guy come on to me and that would have given me a whole different outlook on this BBW life.
