Yah, in some ways LIT seems so behind the times in general and in technology…not the most friendly site here if you ask me. I maneuver around many sites but this one is really weird. Perhaps that is why there are so few that come into the rooms? They are behind as well as catching on to the BBW category. Think about all the sites you may go to…AFF, xHamster, etc and they ALL have a BBW category.

I hate the term BBW, but grudgingly agree that it does apply to me. Im 5'11 so I can hide it better than if I was shorter, but I prefer curvy or even better, voluptuous. I started seeing someone a few months ago and was nervous at first, but then just decided it was what it was and he would either like me for me or not. He says he likes my confidence, the fact that I like to try new things, and that he is not afraid to break me. It all starts with your own self image. I had recently lost about 40ish lbs when we first got intimate and have gained some back in the past 2 months but he hasnt said anything and is still calling and has still been with me. But I am still working on me for me.

Good for you.. and you are right Voluptuous is much better than BBW, but in this age of abbreviating everything, BBW is what so many use... and remember the second B is for "beautiful". And keep doing things for yourself, not others!!
 
I like ladies in all shapes and sizes. What I enjoy is a lady who is confident and takes pride in herself, no matter what size she is. We have too many "rules/concepts" based on figure and size, the intellect and personality are patt of the attraction too.

Excellent! Yes, men find confidence a huge turn on. I have always been confident but probably moreso now physically that I know men like my body. I never really thought about it before; it was take me or leave me all along, but I wasn't playing around either.

I would say to you and yet this is something everyone always shares, but I have finally after 30 years decided that I am highly motivated to lose weight. I am too, however I have diabetes and it's not coming off and they told me it wouldn't unless I exercise ALOT. Getting off 11 pounds has taken me so long. I have knee problems etc and gait problems so it's slow going. Had I been this motivated years ago and committed it would have fallen off me. But not now. I only do the weight loss now for ME because I already know that men love my size and what a blessing that is!! Just do it now, cuz it gets a hellava lot worse when you're old like me. It sounds wonderful that he likes you just the way you are. Make sure that remains the same; if you see at all he wants to changed something, leave.

BBW does seem to define larger women.
I have an exlover who I put through the ringer because I did not think he could love me and love all types of women. I myself don't like my size, and ALWAYS wanted to be much thinner. So the poor guy paid the price because I didn't like my own size and he really worked to convince me that he just loved women (that's when I wish I could get into a man's head and understand the 'Mars versus Venus" thing!!!) To me it was black or white…either one or the other.

Rules and concepts will ALWAYS be here. In a perfect world maybe rubensque would come back around and our fashion industry would get a clue, but it will NEVER change. The only thing that will change is how we raise our sons and daughters to be accepting and love all. I can right now however picture those bullies out there in the school systems that put both boys and girls through hell.

The problem is…is i'm shallow. So I always feel bad about this. I am grateful there are men that are turned on by larger women. But I myself am not turned on by fatter males, among other traits. I think I am shallow for my pickyness.

I always say to each their own, everyone is attracted toward what they like and there is no shame in that. I am skinny black male but I adore curvy women
