Well, I saw something today that made me think it was your birthday, or soon to be.

Good thing I made a little dessert for this evening, and I hope you stay to enjoy it with me.

Why thats very kind of you I must say,
I'll have a whisky and at my age a rocker seems quite appropriate

Cross post from Oral Servitude

I kind of like when it’s soft, but there’s nothing I like more than making it harder, hotter, creamier… and maybe a little spicier.

The longer I wait, the firmer it becomes… the wait makes my mouth water, but I hold off. It is worth getting things just right.*

That moment when I have it in my hand and guide it to my mouth is bliss.*

My lips close around it and I can feel the heat, feel the texture… hard, but still velvety.*

It makes me want more, and I become greedy taking more and more in my mouth until the creaminess inside erupts and I can feel the smoothness flow over my tongue.*

I swallow so that I don’t choke, the taste is what I’ve been longing for.

I lick my fingers clean and look for more.

I love quesadillas.

I'm so sorry that I haven't been here and missed this, darkelf!

It sounds like you had a great time, I'm so glad! Now that the weather is getting warmer, you'll be able to get out more and visit friends and just enjoy things. Are you going near to Adelaide Hills this year? I still want to visit that area... of course, I want to visit all of Australia!

Yes it was a good trip although a bit too warm for me even in Winter. Would just so happen that they had a mini heat wave for the few days I was up there. Soon as I got back home the temps up there went back to normal.

Nope not going to the Adelaide Hills this Summer, but it is on my return list of places to go. Might take a trip down the coast here in Vic this Jan with my mum. But for now just waiting for the temps to get a little higher so I can start the painting tasks again. Mainly cupboards and doors this time to finish off the house. Then it will be time to tackle the garden.

Depending on what type of temps you like will depend on where in Aussie land to visit. Just be aware it is a large area of land. Lots of tourists from the US still get caught out by how big the country is. If you want any tips just let me know.

LOL how about this!? (I am going to learn to make these one day!)

We serve those at the footy. Nothing like eating a hot meat pie while it burns your mouth as you watch your football team on a cold and windy day and don't forget the tomato sauce! :D

I can only imagine the heat, as it's been 108f here this past week. I'm looking forward to cooler weather... and, yes, at this point, 95 is cooler!
It took me a long time to discover that Australia was at least as large as the US. When we learn about it in school, it is simply a continent or a country, but never put out that it's as big as the US if you turn it a certain way...or my teachers failed to put that info out. I would have remembered that bit of news! :D

Tomato sauce? Is that another name for Ketchup? Either way, neither sounds appealing. I would just eat it and enjoy the gravy on the inside. And, this time, that's not a euphemism! LOL

(but give me a while and it might be!)

Walks in and kicks the cat!

Oh, good grief, Charlie Brown!

Some people should just go quietly about their business and get over it.
