went up to see Ron this afternoon and get all the gory details I had a quick look through his notes and found pictures taken of inside his shoulder before and after (in full colour too!!) very interesting but his brother wouldn't even look!! Men are such sissies ...... I hear his ex and their kids are visiting this evening ...oh joy, glad I won't be there!!

I'm glad your hubby is ok, Annie. It is so good that he'll be home before Christmas, assuming that this is a holiday you may celebrate.

I got released from the hospital on Saturday after a tiny little surgery went a little awry. I had to get an obstruction removed from my bile duct so that my liver could resume functioning fully, which was supposed to mean just an overnight stay (little laproscopic dealy-dob). But, I wouldn't quit bleeding. So they made me stay for 5 stupid days. I was sooooooo bored! At least the phlebotomist was cute and flirty.

Still it really was in a sense a gift because as carolers came around the hospital ward singing Alleluia, I cried with the knowledge that I was going to be home by Christmas. Unlike my poor roommate who had just had her leg amputated due to severe diabetes. I am sad for her and for those in the hospital over the holidays, but glad for me, and for your Ron.

Big plumbing adventure this morning, cause SOMEONE (ha ha, it's definitely not me this time cause I wasn't home) forgot to leave the faucet dripping over night. This has only happened twice in the fourteen years we've lived on the farm, so it's an indication of just how mothafuckin cold it is right now. Today warmed up, though, oh joy, so the pipe went ahead and burst and flooded the kitchen. What fun.

Glad I'm here now, in a nice warm shop, with nice running hot and cold customers and my internet porn to keep me warm.
