Thanks T, that was cool, I find it somewhat sad that most of the paintings and illustrations have been removed, I went back 6 pages I think, until my connection failed and I couldn't get back!

and there was some really good stuff! looking around at the boards, i got nervous - seeing past winners and their work. then it was like, okay, if other people can post their stuff, so can you. i tend to be a closeted artist at times, and pulling myself out into public is awkward at times. oh well... maybe if i could get my brain to shut up it would be better.

many of the great artists from history created erotic (pornographic?) works.
Rembrandt, Picasso, Hokusai... should be no embarrassment about sharing it....especially HERE.

Hmm, not embarrassed, more like a little intimidated, with all the really outstanding artists that are here. But I am very excited about it though. I don't mind being non-anonymous.

In the past, I have made a notice on the AH, GB and AM pic that there was an open POLL/exhibit.

Hopefully it won't degrade to a "who has the most friends and/or alts" thing

Well... the commentary tends to be rather superficial. Hopefully some "strokes", because we all need some.

It has been exceedingly difficult to generate any intelligent discussion.

We must also keep in mind that there are different levels of sensitivity to "critiques", which is at another level of commentary.


I would hope that, after the voting, each participant might give a it of background on their thought process.

I spent a good portion of this morning reading back through all the threads associated with the 'challenge' over morning coffee. It seems that in the past posting anything 'guiding' people to the Artists Corner was deemed 'off topic' on many of the boards and quickly banished to 'file 13' by that forums mod. I think the Favorite Pussy Thread is a purrr-fect place to post a notice!

If you need help just let me know what I can do...
