pull me out of me and I'll set you free
reach out your hand and I'll open my soul
I'm not a fan of the loftier goal.
Not asking much-its just a one nighter
We'll dance in the dark and act like we're writers
Its just 16 lines, not much of a task
I'm easy, you know- you need only ask!
Anyone wanna dance?
I'll take the odds; come go evens with me
pull me out of me and I'll set you free
reach out your hand and I'll open my soul
I'm not a fan of the loftier goal.
Not asking much-its just a one nighter

To the music of willows and the wind’s gentle tease,
I'll hold you so gently, entranced by the spell
Of the sweet shadowed promises your body will tell.
And we’ll dance there to music no others can hear,
A music we make when our bodies are near.
The sensual friction of skin against skin
A Dance before the real dance begins.

And we promise to follow the rules. No pillow talk.Miss Oatlash said:I guess no one will be surprised that The Mutt and I are collaborating.
Ah, but we are not working face to face. We don't live together and don't get to see each other nearly as often as we would like. Do you think we waste time writing poetry when we are together?sandspike said:Pillow talk my ass! You guys need to post your poem tomorrow.
It's not fair that you get to work face to face and get some on
the side as well.
I'm curious. Is 16 lines a set rule? No more? No less? This challenge seems suited for sonnets.irishcatsmeow said:This poem was written by Lostandfounder and irishcatsmeow; each writing a line a day and passing the work in progress back and forth through email. L&F wrote the odd numbered lines and irish the even; neither knowing where the poem would go or when it would end. This is an interesting writing experience ...so grab another poet and write a poem.
Rules: Poem should be 16 lines, no discussing poem on phone or through Instant Messaging....just pass it back and forth through email. Include an introduction to the poem, mentioning who your poem partner is.
Submit your joint poems to Literotica on Thursday, December 9th, for posting on December 10th. Have fun!
